Considering that Gnu’s women’s boards are among the highest-selling female-specific models in the world, it’s no surprise that they performed well in these on-snow evaluations. What is striking, though, is how many of the less-than-fairer sex found the B-Street to be right up their alley—dudes at both the Alpine Meadows and Winter Park demos listed the B-Street among their top three choices. With designs approved by multi-time US Open and Mt. Baker Banked Slalom champion Barrett Christy, it’s evident that these aren’t simply pared-down products for snow bunnies. Rather, the B-Street is a real board for girls who ride real hard. That isn’t to say they aren’t equally enjoyable by those whose talent still has room to grow on the snow, though; the Magne-Traction along the edge of this deck makes holding your line tack-sharp, while the bow of the Banana camber keeps the girl-on-the-go able to take her riding to any part of the hill she pleases, be it the pipe, park, or pow. And apparently, the same could also be said for guys secure enough to go cruising on the B-Street.

“I liked the edge hold, and it’s a super-playful board in the park. I really, really liked it.”
