Growing up in Cowgry, and watching Jed Anderson kill it when he was 9 at COP, and see where he has gone, the style he has created…Gotta say the killer Jed.

Mark McMorris, He is killing the contest scene right now and hes website has a ton of funny and sick edits that are starting to bow up, plus the kids trick list goes deeper that his triple corks so he is obviously the #1 rider coming out of Canada.

Favorite Canadian Boarder right now is Sebastien Toutant cause of how smothly he nails all his double corks. Seeing him in all the big air stuff, I was surprised to see his steet and rail tricks. Plus, with him being so young he has so much further to go in becoming a real powerhouse in snowboarding.

I am going to go with the OG Sean Johnson aka Boozy the Clown. He founded Stepchild Snowboards and gave a lot of new riders like Simon Chamberlain their start. I am pretty sure the Party Snake would be extinct without Sean Johnson, Kearns and the Whiskey crew. He definitely wasn’t the best rider or had the best style but has had a significant impact on the Canadian snowboard scene.

Dev is pretty good as well.

I have to go with Devun Walsh. As a Northwest native like me, he’s my go to guy of how I aspire to ride, riding the deepest powder possible and going balls out on jumps to create majestic, clean landings.

Dopest snowboarder in the game… The Boss, Chris Bradshaw. Hands down, steeziest and most greasiest style, so technical, smokes the wheeze on the reg, and is a gangster ass dad. Thats how i live my life lol, just be yourself, do what you feel is right and have fun in life. All of bradshaws video parts look like he’s just chillin with his homies and havin a bomb time, sick music, sick style and siiiiick snowboarding. He’s a pioneer in the game, and someone to be respected forever. I don’t even care if i win the swag, even tho I’ve rode with the PSNAKE boys out in seymour, obreezy labelled me Hewie Dean Hardwood ch ch ch …. i just wanna give big ups to a man who has changed to game forever, bringing back simple tricks with unsurpassable amounts of style, shredding with good people from bear mountain and making dope edits on the reg. I’ve been reading the comments and it’s pretty hard to argue with them, but as far as pro’s that are currently very active in snowboarding, for my money, I’m going with Sean Genovese. I just spent a bunch of time trying to figure out if he’s actually Canadian, and he is. I just keep forgetting he is. He’s from Surrey, and he’s running one of the most legit snow companies around right now (alongside Jeff Keenan). Plus, I’m pretty anxious for his part in the DWD vid. I was kinda bummed when he didn’t have a part in the Think Thank vid last year (the vid company he has with Jesse Burtner). He does all that business stuff but he’s still a top pro. And it’s grassroots style business.

I think Mark Sollors is the best Canadian boarder !

His style is just incredible and he does things other nsoboarder never done before on videos .

i think sebastien toutant is my favourite rider right now because he can shred anything. that isnt the only reason i think he is but he is a good role model for kids like me. when your watching his sick edits and cleanly landing his double corks and going well in x games there is nothing better and you just think i want to be like him one day.thats why he is my favourite canadian snowboarder

mark mcmorris, he’s hands down the best canadian snowboarder, his whole life is snowboarding, in the good way, and hes a huge inspiration for a lot of canadian young people like myself, hes just awesome and humble, i respect that

Dominique Vallee because when I met her in Telluride she was pretty awesome. She shreds the giant parrallell slalom like a boss! Plus she’s was really nice and talked to us a bunch.Plus, when she signed my board she drew a little maple leaf haha!

Mike Michalchuk is a Canadian pioneer and an influential freestyle rider. One of the first to land a double backflip in Halfpipe competition and has invented several tricks including the “Michalchuk” (which Mark McMorris himself called a sick trick). He did tricks that no one else did and pushed his own limits and represented Canada in two olympic games.

Ross Rebagliati, because he can still win a gold medal while stoned out of his mind. Gotta love it!

I would say Mark McMorris, he is 17 years old and just received two golds in the x-games slope and big air. His style is crazy and new.

Eman Anderson 1 because he has one of the sickest styles out there 2 hes one of the most underrated snowboarders out there right now and 3 lets face it he’s a ginger and its hard to find someone that seeems cool, i’snt cocky, and kills it all at the same time

DEVUN WALSH! I know plenty of others have suggested him but they say nothing about how the dude has been ruling backcountry since before people knew about backcountry! Been pro for 15 plus, has one of the best pro models out there with DC and is passing on the knowledge to his Polar Opposite Iikka, among others. Taking it upon himself to teach the youngens how to shred soulfully, and responsibly, sustainably! Devun put Canadians on the map, I deserve this package for demonstrating I understand this! PLEASE!!

Mark mcmorris: yes i know just like every one else but he truly inspires me too get better when i get home from school i sit down and watch this guy on all my spare time, he pretty much owns all back country i mean try watching him youll see where im commin from, when i am up at my local mountain thinking about trying new things or just plain old riding this guy comes in my mind and pushes me to do great things so that i can be like him when i grow up, and not only on the mountain does he make me want to do great, he also makes me want to do great in school so tht my good greats could help me get a scholarship at a snowboarding college so tht one day i may be just like him and thts why mark mcmorris is my favorite shredder overall not just canadian all around favorite rider.
