Not only is it the last day of the general public’s school/work week but it is time for another Free Goods Friday contest. Today is your lucky day. This week we are giving you the chance to win yourself a brand new pair of Roxy goggles pictured below.     My favorite Roxy team rider is Kjersti Buaas. Buaas sets a worldwide example of how to pursue what you love and execute in unique style. She constantly strives to visually enhance her snowboarding performance as well as please fans around the world. Kjersti shows her love for her country by competing in the Olympics, while keeping her Sponsored tours fresh. Her love for snowboarding is always shining on her face as she contributes to support the filmmaking industry. There are many words to describe this incredible rider, but if you watch her raw talent you will see why she is my favorite Roxy Team Rider!

    The whole Roxy Team kills it in there own way, but my favourite Roxy team member is Torah Bright because she is stepping out her comfort zone of halfpipe contests and exploring all aspects of snowboarding. She’s started riding the backcountry, and is killing it.

    My favorite team rider is Erin Comstock. I got to personally ride with her two summers ago at HCSC and she was so fun to ride with. I was working on my box tricks and she hung around to give me pointers. I was falling everywhere and not landing much but she was supportive and just kept it real with me. She continues to kill it every year and is a great role model and inspiration for women in snowboarding!

    Roxy riders are all pretty awesome but Kjersti Buaas is especially awesome. I dig her steezy, relaxed style. But on a more general level, I thoroughly appreciate her zesty approach to life – kind of does what she wants, when she wants. When applied appropriately, I think a lot of younger girls could learn a lot from that lifestyle.

    Erin Comstock inspires me because of her passion and drive. She makes it looks so effortless and smooth. I love that her style showcases these qualities and encourages me to set goals and find ways to achieve them for myself as a newcomer to snowboarding

    Without sounding too cliche, my favourite rider of ALL time, let alone on the Roxy team, is Torah Bright. Kinda weird coming from a guy… But coming from a small country town in Aus to become a snowboarding icon is one of the coolest things ever! She was the first person I read about snowboarding back when I was young. Coming from a small town myself, she helped me see that anyone can do it! She is so cool, calm and collected. When I can eventually get back to the snow, I hope to be half as awesome as she is :)

    Torah Bright cause she kills it and haven’t met her I can say she is super nice and she is also an Aussie which clearly makes her amazing anyway but just the way she rides and how she overcame all those concussions and won gold! She also always has a big smile on her face. She is a real inspiration.

She’s into style more than getting as technical as she can (I’ve always been that way to, with my sk8ing), & she’s into photography & videography as well, I’ve been into that for many years to, that’s cool!     It’s got to be Kjersi Buaas. She is just a machine and knows what’s up. She has mad style and a good head on her shoulders. She’s her own person and that’s what makes her unique.     I also like snowboarder Torah Bright for her recent gold medal. After falling on her first run torah showed the world how to bounce back with a gold medal win.

    Torah Bright caus she dont’s give up after a concussion but she just keep’s going! She is a real inspiration for me and shows that you only can be a great snowboarder when you take new risks to become better. She has also a nice australian accent which I like! :)

    Erin Comstock. She always kills it, her part in The Storming was insane, and she just keeps progressing snowboarding in so many ways. I hear people say Comstock is one of the best female snowboarders in the world, but I think she’s one of the best snowboarders in she world, men or women, period.

    Erin Comstock is rad because I relate to her story and how she got into the sport. I played soccer in college too and then fell in love with boarding, and I respect the positive vibe she gives out, and the fact that she throws down heavy in the urban scene.

    Not to jump on the bandwagon, but I have to say it’s Torah. She is so enthusiastic that when I’m having my scary moments on the hill, I think, ‘what would Torah do’… so I put my smily face, get my giggle on on and shred!

She goes for the big tricks that most seasoned riders don’t even attempt. It is amazing to see sutch a young woman accomplish such amazing things.     Kjersti Buaas is my favorite Roxy team rider because she is multitalented. She treats snowboarding more like an art than a sport and she helps design Roxy gear. Also, she killed it in the US Open rail jam…1st place. Seems as though she’s a cool person on many levels.

    Hands down favorite rider is Robin Van Gyn!! one of the most hilarious people i dont actually know BUT would love to know! hitting the park is fun and all but this chick knows where its at, back country. cruising pow is the ultimate and she loves it just as much as i do. not to mention all she does for kids all over, teaching and showing them how to be good person and rider!! shes supper steazzzzy!!!!     My favorite rider is Ty Walker. She’s young but has an incredible motivation for progression. That alone will take her places. Her talent can be seen from miles away while snowboarding as well as off the mountain in school and other extra curricular activities. I’d like to see her get as much sponsorship as possible to allow her to grow in every aspect of life and inspire young riders everywhere to do the same. Peace and Pow!

    My favorite Roxy Rider by far is Kjersti Buaas. Six years ago, Kjersti Buaas was introduced to me through many videos to inspire me to get back on my board after I had been in a coma. The way she executed her style through fashion and riding showed me that you could still want something that could possibly be unlikely to happen. As I now pursue what I love most, Kjersti Buaas continues to progressively show her riding skills by representing her country at the Olympics, supporting her sponsors, the film making industry and most importantly, her role models. With much to say there are endless amounts of words to describe Kjersti Buaas and the fresh talent she brings spot on to each competition, seeing why she is my favorite Roxy Rider!

    Kjersti Buaas is totally my favourite roxy rider. I’m not only in love with her Signature Jacket (which I have) but also her unique style of riding. If she wants something, she fights for it. Even if she’s just recovered from a broken leg! I hope one day I can be (almost) as good as her and I will fight for it. Even if she’s ‘famous’ she stays with her both feet on the ground.
