A baby blue pullover jacket with all the Special Blend riders photos in black and white and of them doing tricks. Gatta be 30,000mm and with underarm zipper vents to cool you off on hot laps. Speakers in the hood so you dont break your new Beats when ya fall. Super warm and stylish inside thermal layer.( maybe a lime green to pop the color clash). Got it on lock!

  • Adam

Yellow jacket. Orange, red and white accents. Inside pockets for ipod (with slip for internal wire pass through), wallet, goggs. smaller pocket above the wrist for stashing. Standard pockets on both side. Hide away pass holder on either the left or right bottom of the jacket. Comfy hood that can be pinned down for fast shredding. Powder skirt (detachable) for the epic pow days. SB logo on the front, top left. Bigger SB logo on the back, bottom right.

  • meghan

A Blue Jacket with grey hues. The jacket would look super baggy on the outside; but, inside would be fitted, warm and comfy. lots of pockets for gadgets and an outside pocket for gloves that doesn’t look bulky when I put a pair inside. I also like the idea of tie-dye trim. Length would be fairly long, not too fitted in the waist, but cut to show off the butt. Oh ya!

  • brendan

a blue jacket with orange zippers a special blend logo on each arm across the chest on the front in green writing and a huge special blend logo on the back. it would be like an extra large tall cause tall clothes are where its at. it would have normal side pockets a special pocket for my ipod, and a pocket for my phone that would keep it dry on days it snows hard

  • Shain

A slim fit jacket (not to slim) that resembles something you’d wear out on the street like a Pea Coat. Preferably black, but for the ladies you could do a mustard yellow, turquoise, or nearly any color scheme when you think about it. It should have warm insulation and be lined with French terry cotton to wick moisture off the exposed parts of the body. The outside should have a DWR coating so that snow and rain do not penetrate easily. Keeping it as waterproof as possible is key. Nobody wants to ride around looking like a mop. It should have subtle logo pops and a colorful tag on the inside. Pockets for an iPod/cell phone are hugely important and should be protected or lined so that they are never exposed to snow. It should be a zipper up jacket but there are flaps with buttons like a pea coat and it gives the impression that it is an average jacket. Because of the pea cot style it will be long and should function as a powder skirt. There should be a detachable hood that has a super soft lining and for the ladies a fur lining. This bad boy should scream style and class while at the same time be as functional as any other jacket on the market.

  • evan

well the jacket would need to be exclusive so only a few colors one all black like a ninja haha and the other has to be an abnormal color, something nobody has ever seen before and it has to have more features for a coat then ANY other brand out there. it has to have a water proof seperate cell phone and ipod pocket it also must have a zig zag pocket that acts like a box of tissues also a pocket with a clip that is specificly for keys i cant tell you how many times that has happend to me . .. ive never seen a pocket on ones shoulder that would be cool maybe a small one to put the twenty dollars i have to my name haha …… now the logo thing i would want my jacket to be so sick that it draws attention so i would put the logo in one place and small like the back of the hood or a small logo on the regular left pocket and on all the zippers so people ask what kind of jaket it is thats what keeps it exclusive and not like any of the other jackets. u need something for your pass i would want that on the bottom of the sleeve on the underside of my wrist …. a draw string on the hood like a hoody is kinda pushing it now but it could help for thos long windy rides on the lift…………. i want the ipod pocket located on the inside of the left sleeve andthere should be a wire going up the sleeve underneth a layer going up to a inside chest pocket wear u can connect your head phones…..and last but not least there must be a super secret stash pocket so hiddin that the peson wearing thw jaket will have trouble finding it ….. i could really do this all day

  • Dave Brooks

Relaxed fit jacket with some kind of sweet blue and gray smoke design print on Gore-Tex premium fabric. Music pocket connected to speakers on each side of the collar. Dry pocket with elastic straps to hold lighter and other essentials. Super comfy liner made from yellow dyed unicorn fur. GPS display on left wrist. Snowboarder Mag RSS feed display on right wrist. What more could you ask for? Maybe some pit zips.

  • stephanie auld

rainbow kaleidoscope print… 20,000 mil waterproofing… zippers that don’t get caught, warm fuzzies around your mouth/ neck area… long-ish for the girls…. secret pockets…

  • fromunda

A long, relaxed fit jacket to keep out that snow in pillows. I need a dry pocket to stash my goods and some access zippers in the chest to keep it irie in windy conditions.(until every lift is a bubble) A built-in, zip out face mask to stay stealthy and keep feeling in my face on the cold daze. The standard media pockets are convenient. Deep pockets for beers, flasks, harmonicas and other fun shit. Have you seen those fuckin goggles with GPS and shit in them? Maybe something like that but then I couldn’t afford it. Wrap it up in a rasta theme. I dig black green and yellow, or whatever else is dope. I’m talkin functionality:)

  • Ak

A little drop down crapper…resort bathrooms sometimes suck

  • kenrick

My Dream jacket would include a mummy sleeping bag attachment skirt, a cocoa cup holder, and a pull down Storm trooper helmet with digital read outs for the money!. =D

  • aleksandar

My dream jacket is sunset jacket ! i would like to wear the sun on me … rising from bottom of the front left pocket going to the bottom back part of the jacket and some birds flying on the top back part of the jacket :)) that will be lovely

  • Justin

This coat need to be a special blend of style and utility. My coat needs to be long and a bit wide for all of us big 6’3″ riders. A solid color like forest green or royal blue make for great contrast in the snow and in the sky. Two inside pockets both with head phone access, and one made from clear materials so you can check your phone without taking it out in the cold or on the lift. Two chest pockets and two side pockets for extra storage, clips on the inside. A zipper on the front of coat to gain access to inside when you are trying to light up on a windy day. Side pockets big enough for a beer or two so you can slug them on first chair. Special blend has a great logo to put on sleeves, but nothing big like the fugly Nomis coats. Reinforced zippers with rubber pulls. Pit vents for charging days. Definitely a hood. Nothing too complicated or bulky I want to worry about speed and air in my riding not how easy it is to stop and use all the cool features.

-extra long length, with out the width

    -Extra Durable light weight material
-Many color schemes for what ever riding style your feelin!

  • Burr Burr

A perfect jacket would include the following…
    1. Gore-tex leather.
    All titanium metal parts
    >this includes zippers. I want rubber-reinforced platinum zippers. I also want the rubberized zippers to be plentiful. Think off all the zippers on those classic punk jackets. I need lots of pockets, and pockets on the inside.
Fur hood around the top. Let’s make it some crazy Red Fur. I have yet to grow tired of wool around the hood. I know this hood is bound to get caked with snow, but it looks dope. We’ll go with a synthetic though, because the Gore leather is going to raise some eyebrows. Also, the hood has to be generous. I want enough hood to keep me warm.
Neck warmth is important, so the face front has to cover well and have fleece to you can tuck in your face for optimal warmth.
It’s gotta be loose enough to ride, but not gangster cut. Let’s just call the cut ‘soul-rider’ cut, because that’s pretty much the way to describe it. Think ‘back-country’ loose, not Cam’Ron loose.
I want some gold studding. If there is a way to get some gold that doesn’t kill people in the third world, I want that gold. Maybe, some faux gold, but make sure it looks legit.
I want a way to zip in matching pants. You can have the one-piece functionality without the one piece look. I want it to zip from the removable powder skirt. This way you can powder skirt it, or be closed up via the pant-jacket combo.
I do want some elbow patches made of a fast drying suede. This has gotta be red. It also needs to be placed stylishly in a few places on the jacket. Leather is dope, but I don’t want to slide all the way down an icey run when I slip up.
When it comes to pockets, I want the pockets to be deep enough, that if I forget to zip shut, things are not going everywhere.
I don’t want Velcro except on the cuffs. Velcro is usually to noisy to be over pockets all the time. Plus I want that platinum to shine.
I want the lining inside to be light and functional and signed by the cast of Arrested Development.
I do want some avalanche type tracker stuff in it too, like Recco and all that. The recco patch should be all leather so it’s custom steez. And also some GPS tracking stuff inside, that is on a good battery, so it doesn’t need to be turned on and off all the time. Maybe a battery that needs to be replaced at the start of the season.
I do want some sort of internal headphone/iPod attachment option. I don’t generally ride with an iPod, but for around town, it would be nice.
I also want a zip in black vest option. This would come with three vests for varying warmth.
    a) a lightweight fleece
    b) a heavy fleece
    c) a down vest
Also, some mellow loop to attach my mitts when going inside. I hate loosing mitts.

  • Little Jeff

Gore-Tex outer shell with removable fleece/flannel on inside. Waterproof zippers, and wrist gaiters with zipper cuff/glove conection. Clear pass window on right wrist, long and short waist gaiter attachments, and padded areas around elbows, shoulders, etc. Oh yeah, and a slippery outer coating like those crab fisherman suits so you could fly down the hill on your chest.

  • Nikita

    gore tex
    green and yellow pattern
either a shell or slightly insulated (could always add insulation)
insulated ipod pocket with cord loop (so my ipod doesnt die too fast)
    powder skirt
    glove loops
    removable hood
    basic pockets
    ticket pass/season pass holder

  • whirlingdervish

    BLACK

  • kris

red, like the ski patrol ones. so you can go down closed trails knowing ski patrol wont chase you down. and wrist and waist gaiters

  • Sean

Keep it rasta themed for John. Don’t do any prints because they’re fading out. I would go with a Yellow jacket with one sleeve green and the other red. It would be cool to see a jacket thats a little bit longer in the back than in the front. The liner of the jacket should have a rasta lion print and come with a safety kit.

  • James

I know you won’t pick this, but basically a super hot babe which’ll be my wife absolutely butt naked in it with the powder skirt down just enough to cover her moan zone, :) : p

  • Janus

Seriously, this jacket looks like a dream one for me:) I’d add just one special power – magic pockets always full of jelly beans:)

  • Ryan

Dream jacket – gore-tex or similar, fully taped seams, seamless snow cuffs removable hood, plenty of pockets (horizontal w/ magnetic flaps at waist, vertical at chest with waterproof zippers). cut for layering, 40gr insulation in the core. collar and cuffs should be lined with Muppet fur. Only genuine Muppet, no imitation.

Tan in color with a finish like turnout firefighters turnout gear.

  • Nick Wittman

Simple basic one solid color like blue or black.
A full interior of wool even in the hood.
Outside would be 20,000k water proofing shell.
Not only will there be pit zips, but the sleeves fully removable by zipper.
Ipod/cell phone compartment insolated and ipod pause and play controls on the edge of the collar of the jacket.
The back of the jacket would be lower than the waist or the front with a thin but useful buttpad best when sitting on the top of your local hill or taking a quick spill off a box or jump to help protect ur butt/tailbone.
Season Pass clear seal compartment that is retractable on a string like a yo yo from the waist for easy scanning.

  • Damani

my dream jacket anything free, that comes with a sick video, ya’know what, lets just say its the special blend jacket in the photo.

  • Jamie A. MacDonald

Color and print pattern don’t matter to me so much as fit and function. I’d let your artists cover the colors and prints. So here’s what I want:

    20k mm Waterproof material
    10k gm breatheable interior.
Removeable Merino wool liner for sub zero backcountry riding.
    It needs a hood
The cut used on the Command jacket is perfect.
Two front pockets that have zippers, but also velcro closed flaps. Big enough for my gloves in one side a 40oz in the other.
Front left chest season pass pouch. Should have a clear plastic “window” but can be covered w/ a velcro flap and also have a zipper on top to “seal it”
The sleeves, waist, and hood should all have one hand operated drawstrings to “cinch up”.
Zip vents in the pits to release the funk if needed.
Interior needs a “media pocket” for your iPod,Zune, whatver. But it needs to be EXTRA insulated cuz cold KILLS batteries fast. We also need a system of loops to lace your earbud cords through to keep em organized. Make this pocket on the Inside left chest area. This could just close with some good velcro. On the opposite side a bigger pocket, big enough for maybe a wadded up bandana or pictures of your bro’s milfy mom.
Down near the waist in the interior on each side large zipping pockets..I like pockets ok?
It needs to have an elastic powder skirt that buttons to your pants.

And last..If there is room left two speakers on the back w/ a laser light show rig and small smoke machine..This needs to be able to interface with your iPod or other portable media device…You know…So you can bring the party.

  • Jbombeck

My Jacket would be a black down jacket. And it would have an integrated avalanche transmitter and receive.

  • michael Douglas

    respect irie
    mike d
    dj amnesia

  • Sean F

Black with blue and yellow accents.

  • jorge

A brown jacket with zippers cream. Headphones have a good hood and big pockets. While improving your product is a bit difficult. A greeting from Spain

  • Jeff44

I dont care what color. Needs pockets for mp3, flask, tool, lighter, pipe, and flask. maybe a dookie rage pocket on the inside. Removable sleeves!!! Some days I might just want to rock a bad ass vest, you know. MUST have snow skirt and removable liner.

  • Sandra

I’d want something light and bomber: Goretex pac lite but is rip resistent. Want pit zips for ventilation, available in cool colors like kelly green, lapis blue and raspberry pink. Easy access zipper pockets that I can open and close easily with gloves/mittens on, big roomy pockets. I want easily adjustable hood so that it tightens down so my peripheral is not blocked and that I can see/hear okay but still have wind protection and hood is big enough for me to wear a warm knit had under. Adjustable wrists and cincing at bottom of jacket. Make it roomy and cut for a female…not a straight 10 year old boy with no hips, boobs or butt. Put some cute graffic on the sleeve, front and/or back but not too loud/obnoxious. And of course I want fleece lined pockets, and fleece over the top of the zipper where it would hit my neck/chin. Reinforced zippers so wet/cold/snow can’t get in. And a place to put my iphone/ipod and string the earbuds through from the inside. Now that would be saaaaa-weet.

  • Arne Zeising

    Design:
The Jacket would be in a nice slightly dark red, cause this is the new blue.
White SB Logo at the front right bottom, cut of by the lower end of the jacket.
The red fades into a black-white natural mountain photo print at the hood, which can be extra enlarged to get the Jed Anderson helmet under hood look (save your brain but don’t look like Toad). Cuffs would be in earth tone greenish blue and zippers black.
It would be a bit slim and longer fitted. But not freeskiing like.

    Technical Features:
iPhone warm and safety pocket with little kevlar inserts, so I mustn’t care about hitting the rails with my chest, where the pocket for iPhone/iPod is placed.
Still would have a liftticket pocket at the wrist.
Two easy open pockets (for example two snaps) near the waist with faux fur insides to always have warm hands, wether in the lift, in the streets or riding park with hands in pockets. Together with iPhone and lifticket pocket, there would be a big zipper pocket inside and a little small stuff pocket on the chest, which would be the only 5 pockets.
Possibility to insert a Slytech like backprotector, which you will hardly feel while riding.
Watch insert possibility(transparent layer with velcro) at the left wrist under the outer cuffs on the inside cuffs, so it wont collide with the gloves and you just have to turn back the outer cuffs to show your “Romex”.
Unseen solar panels (maybe build in to the hood, where the shell is not too thick) to load your iPhone/iPod/filming battery on the run.

Hope I provided you with some ideas, would love to see those in after next years collection.
And there is no such need for 40k mm/40k breathability. Never got wet in my 10k Circa Jacket. Reasonable pricing together with quality is the key. I rather read Gore Tex than super duper high numbers. And don’t abuse China too much (which would maybe collide with “reasonable pricing”).

  • c

a jacket that is not bulky, but is a little bit lengthy, it seems like even with a skirt some jackets come too short. something like a tall tee jacket i guess. and has good ipod access :)))))))

  • Gabe

My dream jacket would be a hoodie/sweatshirt inspired, still with a zipper up the front, made of Gore-Tex material and well insulated. It would run a little baggy but still tight enough to wear around town without looking like you’re walking around wrapped up in a blanket. Pit Zips, of course and a detachable hood, as well as a removable neckie (fleece) attached to the area around the neck. Two zippered chest pockets, hidden media pocket, two zippered pockets at the waist. Pass pocket and goggle cleaning swatch, mandatory. Thumb loops to keep snow out of your jacket and gloves at the wrists. Jacket to pant zipper interface and removable pow gaiter. Around the bottom of the jacket would be a hoodie-looking fabric, but still very waterproof, and the same goes for at the wrists. Lastly, the jacket would run naturally to end around the middle to bottom of your butt. However, there would be a zipper a few inches above your hips that runs all the way around the jacket. When unzipped the zipper would release an extra few inches of Gore-Tex fabric so that the jacket went down to your thighs. It would come in black, with red accents on the zippers, bright blue with lime green accents, and a red plaid design. SB logo on the outside of the right shoulder and on the left chest. I don’t know about you but I would sure as hell wear this jacket.

  • DHORn

All ya need is steeze kiddies. I love the neon colors, but its gotta be swaggerful. Swelly to the top with top of the line gore tex. And dont forget to boast a phat SB somehere on this dope jacueta. Dont forget about putting a little stash for the “goodies” (john jackson). A definte must is hand gaitors, LOVVVVVVEEEEEEE UUUMMMMMMMM!!!!!! Damn that sounds like a fresh jacket!

  • Gunnar Johnson

Red, white, and black plaid woolen coat all the way baby!

  • sexy mexy

tye dye all over, pass pocket on the wrist, glove to jacket powder skrit so you dont get that white stuff all over yourself,

  • Arne Zeising

To give you an idea what I was talking about earlier I made this little mock-up including a description:
    http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk90/Tarantum/specialblend.jpg

  • Taylor Mann

Purple and black coat with powder skirt for those sick pow days. super water and wind resistent. pass hideaway on the bottom. bigger sb logo. longer length but not like free skiiers.hood that can fit over a helmet for those super cold days.water resistent zippers. Super warm.

  • Dylan

somehow fashion a striped green and grey (im colorblind by the way, that may be a problem) on the left of the zipper on the front. have it wrap around the back and fade to complete green by about the under arm. Of course, have arm vents and a hood that stays where you want it too. I’m thinking a checkered inside(random colors) with fleece on critical spots on the inside. Now, this would be a sig fit, so mp3 pocket on the inside as well as maybe a pocket for wallet/pass/ misc. on the out side two zip up pockets for random stuff. up tword the chest maybe have a buttonm pocket that, when un-buttoned, falls out from the bottom, much like a wallet they show in movies when people show pictures of thier children. the pants would be a grey fade to green around the knees. leg vents, as usual, and a nice mesh inner lining for maximum comfort. i also like my pants as a sig fit, nice big pockets for a camera possiby. nothing too fancy though.

  • Brown

My dream jacket would have critically taped seams with an adjustable drop hood. An adjustable pow skirt would be wonderful. It’s gotta have an interior music pocket for my tunes, and a goggle pocket. It needs a yoyo pass holder and a key clip so i dont lose my pass or my keys. It’s gotta have a two pockets on the outside of the jacket that are up near the chest. And when the park days get hot i need pit venting. Hand warmer pockets would be great too. Oh and if the jacket was 20k water proofin and 20G breathability, i dont wanna freezin my nads of on a pow day. If the jacket was like super dark navy blue or super dark maroon that would be phresh. Maybe if i had a little pocket in my sleeves that would also be sick.

  • Dom

To keep it simple my dream jacket would down filled, but only a small layer. Well ventilated. Long enough to cover my bum (self censorship), but not wide so I don’t look like a marshmellow. It would have Recco tech, for avalanches. A slanted or off to the side zipper so my chin doesn’t get frozen to it. Most importantly, my dream jacket would have built in earbuds, with a convenient pocket for my ipod because tunes are the most important thing in comforts on the hill.

  • derryl

fixed-hood, Gore-TEX, extra waterproof, fully taped, light insulation, army green canvas material, oversized main zipper, pit zips, comfy and easy to move in like a hooded sweatshirt,, baggier and long but not oversized, exterior utility pockets, a neoprene padded internal pocket for phone or ipod, and another neoprene padded pocket to fit a small glass pipe. Like I said, extra waterproof. Thing thing needs to stop bullets in Nam, but look stylish. I want to wear it around town, then wear it to the mountain.

  • Justin Davies

Orange jacket with an avalung that instead of converting snow to breathable air it converts it into drinkable beer so that I can stay relaxed when buried and then eventually urinate my way out.

  • matt

    My Dream Jacket.
For this jacket to be dreamy it would need the following:

2.Large pocket on the back for hydration bladder and clip in front for mouth piece.
3.Large pockets on waist, chest and inside removable liner.
4.Speakers inside the removable hood to plug into mp3 player.
    5.Roomy,baggy and nonrestrictive.
6.Well insulated waterproof and wind proof and breathable.
    7.Rugged zippers.
    8.Powder skirt.
    9.Fur around the hood.
10.Clip with velcro cover flap with clear envelope with retractable lanyard “yo-yo”
    for passes.
11.Flexible solar cells ( like the roll up solar cells for camping and hiking ) on the hood and shoulders to charge phones or mp3 players with usb plug and or have a pocket that’s warmed to keep electronics from getting to cold.
12.Incorporate some sort of green or recycled material like bamboo and or hemp fabric to reinforce the elbows.

  • Daniel

my dream jacket would have to be the jacket that I dream about when I am asleep. It would be the sickest jacket on the planet seeing as how its the jacket of my dreams and if it were to be on the earth it would be like nothing the earth has ever seen.

  • Kieran Schmidt

should have sreaks of purple and lime green with bright yellow as the main color. inner mitts on the wrists so if i forget my mitts i can still ride for at least a few hours instead of having to turn right around. it would have the Never Evo logo on the back.Gatta be 30,000mm and with underarm zipper vents to cool you off on hot laps. Speakers in the hood so you dont break your new Beats when ya fall. Super warm and stylish inside thermal layer. In bright pink. It also have some kind of elbow pads built in but not bulky.

  • Jude Dircks

I think you know exactly what I would have in a jacket, you guys are silly for asking.

  • Andrew Fredrickson

while dreaming one night, a beautiful thing popped into my head. while part of it was the girl of my dreams…part of what i did not realize is that she was wearing the jacket of my dreams. it was a baby blue color, with pink cuffs, and pink logos scattered all around. the zippers were black, along with black accents. besides looking awesome, the jacket had sweet features…which of course were only visible when the girl of my dreams took it off. there was a built in mp3 player that could detect exactly what song i wanted to listen to without me doing a thing. with that mp3 player also came built in surround sound speakers in the hood, that were super kick ass. this jacket also had heating elements in it to keep you warm on the coldest of days. its design made it block your face from the snow when you zipped it up all the way. finally, there was a built in watch on the outside of the sleeve so that you could always tell what time it was.

  • Cameron

a tall and slim jacket with a tie dye print and not to thick.

  • perry spring

    My dream jacket would have…
    1. blue, purple, and green diagonal strip lines with different thickness to the strip
    2. pockets on the side of the front and top of the front for more storage space
    3. of course have clips in the inside of sleves and pockets for attacking gloves and etc.
    4. flap for back of bottom of coat to remain dry in behind
    5. hood would include a a strap to tighten and losen acordingly
    6. inside of the jacket would be made of a light material and the color used least on outside would be used here

    Overall great jacket

  • tahooozah

a blunt, a 40 of old e, and some speakers in the hood to groove!

  • matthew r welsh

baggy fit, semi long cut. Just two colors, like flat grey and neon tennis ball green. hell maybe even a furry logo-patch, and matching hood awlll yeah. it has to have all the usual pockets, vents, zips, and an attached bottle opener and “lighter-meds” compartment. at least 20k and 20g, but light weight since i am a so-cal (warm weather) rider. real roomy at the shoulder to accomodate nice stretched out grabs BOOM! and, most important…paisley liner

  • Gaylen Holt

It would be a baggy jacket with pit zips. A pocket for a mp3 player, nice and warm. A powder cuff at the bottom to keep the snow out. A pocket for the ski pass so that it does not get lost and in a nice blue color.

  • Graeme McIsaac

Tall fit, Special Blend Logo on the bottom right that is tie dye,Make jacket come in white and black or any colour works(yea im Canadian! colour is spelt with a U!) I pod pocket on the inside, Removable Powder Skirt, Warm, ,and warm wrist things so snow doesnt get in there, cause that makes u cold as shit! On the back have a picture of pamela anderson or some other sexy chick! so when people see you doing some crazy shit they not only get a boner from your trick but the also get a boner from your jacket! and yea thats my dream jacket!

  • Jessica

-lots of pockets for electronics including extremely water proof pockets for cameras phones money and what not

  • David I

    red please.

  • Sean Wilson

So a jacket eh….well its gotta be have both a liner and the shell. the liner is made of a nice polyester/silk and water proof outlining on it that would be snug so it could wick away the sweat(no need for nastyness). The color will be midnight blur with the SBTM logo patterned in white randomly around it. It will also have to pockets like a hoodie for use in the lodge….those place are usually like ovens. Then the shell would be a bit longer then normal and would be a 10k waterproofed ,Freedom fited for unrestricted movement while riding. Would have the same material as the C3 Circa jacket. Would have a capped hood so that on those crazy snow days you can feel like the guy from assassins creed and sneak through the snow. Would have most of the usual: hand liners, pockets all around(even the secret ones on your shoulders and in the inside along with all the other pockets (hey I get hungry and forget I put food in my jacket so I have to know there are plenty of places to put snacks). It will have head phone lines running along the ouside of the zippers so you dont have to mess with the wires in the jacket. It will have a pocket in the back so you can put a water bladder in with the suck tube if you feel the need to get thirsty. For the graphics and color, it would be all white with orange stripes going diagonal across it and the graphics will be an S on the front and B on the back both will be right side up and upside down so if you get stuck in powder upside down you can still represent! ha. the letters will be royal blue and then have T and M on the shoulders. Thats it

If were talking crazy new ideas…..then yea nothiin

“why you being such a cheesecake?”

My dream jacket would be a pea coat inspired jacket. You could make a jacket line with the colors, chocolate brown, maroon, olive, dark blue, and black. The jacket would be lightweight, warm, slim fitting, upper mid thigh length, two lines of big gold buttons on the front flap, the big collar, the white and red japanese rising sun pattern for the inside liner of the jacket, and a detachable sweatshirt hood so you can mix & match your colors to look super fresh even when you end up in a yard sale down the mountain. Oh, plus tons of bells, whistles, and pockets are a must!

  • Jon

My dream jacket is black with maybe a slanted pink line from shoulder to hip. it would be nice if you could put it on hoodie style but you cant guarantee dryness from that. there would be pockets on the inside for my phone, goggles, and wallet. there would be chest pockets on the outside and a pocket where the wrist is for easy access. get some.

  • Matt

Tall fitting, light amount of insulation, 15k water 15k breath.
Whole jacket is one color at Blue, Cyan, Red, Yellow, Grey, White, and Green. With a silver special blend print at 10″ by 10″ behind the hip, but not over an ass cheek.

  • Nick

It would be a red base color, with black and white detail on it, Inside it would have pockets for what ever and one for an ipod, with the little alastic things up the zipper for the headphone cord. Also It would just have the forum logo all over it in black and white. It would be warm, waterproof and all that, just an all arond good coat

  • Hayden

Just something that will keep me warm and dry (which special blend happens to make very well) so that i can snowboard. as long as i can board, im good.

  • Jason Neak

goretex soft shell thats light and warm
    bright blue
    clean no ugly big pockets
    fully taped

  • Aaron

for this jacket to be my dream jacket first it would have to be a tall jacket but not to bulky also fairly light 15k water 15k breath. 2nd it would need to have pockets on the inside that could keep my iopd and phone warm and dry because ive gone through 2 cell phones do to them getting wet while snowboarding.3rd it would have to have speakers in the hood and some sort of control panel that you could plug into your ipod on the arm so when i want to change a song i dont take my ipod out of my pocket to changee songs.4th it would need something that was easy to access to clean my goggles and a holder for my season pass that was also easy to access.5th it would need to be an orange jacket with a white hood and the words special blend going down the jacket diagonally in white and have orange fur around the hood also all the zippers would have to be white.6th the last thing that would be on my dream jacket would be a watch that was on the sleeve so i could see what time it is at all times since i am working kid who spends any free time he has at the mountain but needs to know what time it is so he doesnt get fired for being late.

  • Rom Jackson

I wear Special Blend jacket (it’s called Circa I think) and pants. Please make the jackets taller, make them longer below my butt (some smaller companies produce jackets like that and they are cool). The Annex pants are the coolest pants on earth, please do not ever change a thing on its cargo pockets and its cut, or I’ll get pissed.

  • Rom Jackson

I had a funny problem withe the front pockets. Sometimes my phone and my wallet in my front inner (outer too) pockets makes me unable to lean an grab my board. My chest squeezes the wallet against my belt and pisses me off. The same when I get strapped in. There sould be some inner pockets somewhere at the bottom more to the sides. Think of it.

  • Robert

a jacket that fits HUGE! an ipod charger, headphones in the hood, cannabis colorways, two zipper pockets on the front and 3 cargo pockets(one on the sleeve), a large interior pocket and a cell phone holder and an ipod holder, a wrist cuff system such as buttons instead of velcro, and a hook on the front for lift tickets

  • jose hernandez

my custom jacket would be a purple and black checkered jacket that looks alittle baggy but fitted on the inside. i would love to have and inside pocket that has a headphone jack hole so i could listen to my ipod while i shred and know that its safe. Also i would love on the bottom a little lace you can pull to tighten the bottom so that way the snow doesnt go inside the jacket.

  • Amos

My dream jacket would be a relaxed fit gore tex 2-layer shell jacket with fully taped seems an offset zipper that closed about 2 inches left of my chin. There would be a built in facemask with an airhole in it. The hood would be big enough to fit over a helmet and adjustable. It would have wrist gaiters, but not the kind on the Choice, the kind that burton has on some of their ak line that just have a thumb loop inside the cuff to keep you glove from coming out/sleeve pulling back. It would have the zip in jacket to pant interface that burton discontinued (WHY!) and volcom still does. Pockets: it should have an interior ipod/phone pocket with a hole at the top for a headphone cord, a little pass pocket on the inside of the jacket close to the bottom of the front zipper (those yo-yo things have a tendency to come off/break. There would be the standard two front pockets at the bottom separated by the zipper, and one external chest pocket right in the middle where the zipper would be if it wasn’t offset. Off course it would need pit vents and waterproof zippers. Color wise it would be pretty simple like the Choice, all one color except the inside of the hood and zippers. There would be a mandatory red, white and blue color scheme, with blue as the base color and after that you could do whatever, maybe make it customizable as long as it is kept to the premise of 1 solid color base and 1 or 2 other colors on the zippers and in the hood to accent it.

so yeah i think that about covers it

  • Sean

The jacket would be gortex on the out side with alpaca fir on the inside. it will have a built in face mask with two zippers on each side one to unzip and one for a vent and it will be pull over. The jacket would have a internal heater and air conditioning powered by two solar panels on each shoulder or a small set of double a batteries on pow days. It would be one solid color and no label of the companies name just a picture of an bald eagle carrying an American flag to signify the persons love for the USA. Two outside pockets made out of mini dry bags like they use for white water rafting, two internal flap pockets, and an ipod pocket that you can scroll through your music through a plastic lining, and of course above all else a rape whistle.

  • alex

A two layered jacket. the shell would be longer then the liner so when you have the liner in you can still use snow skirt. that’s the main thing I want to find in a jacket. pit vents. some well placed pockets (breast, ipod, etc.) and the other norms. I haven’t been able to find a two piece jacket that the snow skirt goes low enouggh to use while wearing inner layer. so if yopu can do that i’d be happy

  • Dude bro man

For me the perfect jacket is something I can wear all day and not have to change any thing or at to keep warm or cool off. I have a slimmer fit jacket to keep the bunk dow, keeps it easy t see over the shoulder on a good fount side board slide. I make it out of Gortex because it so light and water proof so no water what the conditions are you can still ride all day. i what there to be tents in the warms indie and a small one out side just to keep it cool when it gets warmer.
Color should be simple with a little bit of flash, keep a True blue with a brighter shade of green with some orange, all in one big stripe across and the special blend logo in black on the back. Keep a place to throw some hand warmer in the jacket on a really cold day, not to many pockets on the fount, just top on each side and a ipod pocket, keep on on the shoulder. some some kinda fun tag art inside the jacket and inside the hood too.
keep it simple, keep it fresh, keep it slim, keep it real, enjoy.

  • Preston Ergei!

Hmmm, Dream jacket! In terms of looks, I’d have to go with the puffer look, bright three broad vertical pastel colour stripes! Definite arm pocket for easy lift pass storage, and chest pockets for stashing stuff on the outside. All the pockets would not be that prominent, with zippers with rubber covers corresponding to the the colours of the jacket. Phone pocket on the inside of the jacket as well as an music pocket, however I’d also add a music option to an outside chest pocket (space for headphones leading from outside pocket into inside of jacket) so its easy to access ipod on chairlift without having to unzip the whole jacket!

  • Josh

Dream Jacket. Three diagonal stripes going from right shoulder to left pelvis. The stripes would be (from top) Blue, Black, Yellow. It would have black outer lined pockets and red on the inside. It would have a highly insulated media pocket and yellow special blend logos all over the inside of the hood and jacket. On the outside, there would be one black special blend logo on the left hood and two red ones near the bottom pockets. the background color of the jacket would be charcoal grey and the insulation in the hood and jacket would be red. There would be an additional two red logos on both of the arms and red cuffs on the sleeves. Additionally, there would be a blue stretchable waist band and black loops to hold mittens on. There would also be many other pockets whose outer linings would agree with the color of the jacket. There would be vents under both of the arms and a red zipper down the middle. In my opinion, a pretty solid dream jacket.

  • Chris

My dream jacket has speakers in the collar so I can listen to my music but still hear my buddy when he say he’s headed to the bar. My dream jacket is warm enough for those 15 degree days but light enough that I don’t feel like its robbing me of air-time off the jumps. I don’t have any idea what the colors or designs my dream jacket has because, I am not that fashion conscious to know what’s hip. But I do know that my dream jacket is not black, and it has not sculls on it. Snowboarding is way too joyful to be wearing some black soul crushing style. I have always loved lined chest pockets to keep my hand warm on the lift. Thanks for the chance to tell you about my dream.

  • Mike

This man’s dream jacket would include two pockets of awesomeness for my hands. and a hood on the back for my head. … The color? Black and Red to cover blood stains.. It would have to be small enough to blaze through trees and large enough to cushion my ass (donkey for when I ride him epically back up the mount). Yeah, losers would be staring at my epic ass.

  • Jesse

FRESHEST JACKET OUT: Lime Green outer shell (baggy) with side pockets, chest pocket, right arm pocket by bicep big enough for a pack of cigs and a lighter pocket inside that.On inside of outer shell will be a stash pocket behind one of the accesory pockets. Accesory pockets: place to put your ipod (upper center of jacket for easy access) keys wallet tissues and phone. These pockets will be waterproof and have a slightly hard shell so it releives some impact when fallen on. White zippers with orange zipper leash and velcro over that for max protection. neon green SB symbol with black stitch on upper middle back and right arm, Small Silver peice on bottom left that says SPECIAL BLEND that looks official. A white special blend logo on the hood. Also a nice cream blue removable inner shell for those extra cold days with a classy SB logo near right pocket. Outline whole jacket (inner and outer shell) with small black stitch. The inner shell will be thin but durable. put 2 side pockets and chest pocket with super secret stash inside in the least likely place to damage by falling, black on inside. add a hood with optional fur because that would be soo fresh but some dont rock that. attached on the inside of the collar would be a spot for the cream blue facemask that comes with the jacket.
You can rock this jacket with any color pants.

  • Jenn R.

My dream jacket would be a bright orange with ocean blue trim / accents. I’d like the jacket to be on the slimmer side with removable snow guard, detachable hood. I think it’s important to have an extra grommet / or something on both sides of the jacket for lift tickets & ski passes. Using the hole on the zipper is suboptimal. Plenty of pockets for all the gadgets, some on the inside as well. Something attached to the jacket to make it easier to remove snow / ice from the goggles. A soft lined pocket to not scratch the iPhone / media player, sun glasses, etc. Thanks :)

  • texas

how bout a jacket that takes you to the hill and makes it snow and shit, i dont care what color it is or even if it has arm holes. id shredd a straight jacket if i had to. P.S. the jacket your giving away is dope so are john and eric jackson. these kids are lame though.

  • Jeremy

My dream jacket would be reversible, cuz I like to change it up, so two coats in one would be awesome! Plus I can switch sides if I wanna ditch ski patrol. It would be coated with unicorn tears to repel water and dirt (or DWR if unicorn tears are in short supply. Separate pockets for your cell phone, mp3 player, pass, and gummy bears are a must too. Word!

  • kyle koeppler

Those fluffy puffs are clouds in your dream, it’s field of powder your on in your dream jacket! This dream jacket wont get you wet with 10K of waterproofing, keep you warm with 15k of insulation, and have pockets galore with; 2 inner chest pockets to access your Music containment unit (whether you’re right handed or left handed, the other to hold your camera- need proof right), 2 outer pockets for snack and miscellaneous storage, and 2 shoulder pockets for ‘what not.’ This jacket will have powder skirt and hoodie of course. The design is medium slim, big boys gotta have a chance too! Color comes in grey, and black with left chest diesel striping like you just left the garage! enjoy this jacket as it keeps you dry and warm without all the bulk.

  • Yovi

My dream jacket is that BEACON in purple with that sick Special Blend logo in green!!!Do your things and let me have it next Year :)!!!

  • Ransa

My dream jacket? it would be the more deluxe version of the choice jacket. it would be a light blue with black grafitti all over it. It would be waterproof and always be the perfect temperture (cool in the summer and warm in the winter) It would have handwarmers, a nice big hood, a moisture wicking removable inner jacket. It would have a built in mp3 player with all the sickest songs and built in earbuds you can pull out. Put the hood up, and you got your self a helmet. The hood would be soft and look dope, while protecting your head. And to top it off it would be able to teleport you to any snowy spot in the world, anywhere from breckenridge, colorado to the back country of alaska. Say good by to ski lifts and lift tickets

  • Colin

A black jacket with red “Fuck It”s all over in different fonts with a red inner layer. Other than that it’s just gotta keep me warm when the slopes are fucking cold and have vents for when they’re not cold enough.

  • alex reber

purple jacket with neon green and light blue squares randomly and on the back white it would just say… pow. XLT for sure. sag guards and skirt that hook to your pants. the inside nice and snug with almost a felt pattern inside cuz that shit feels good. ipod pocked somewhere on the inside around the chest and headphone holes near the bottom of the hood on both sides. this jacket should defentantly have a lil squeege on the inside of the wrist somewhere, cuz not all gloves have em.a lense cloth straped to the inside of a pocket on the outside of the coat would be rad. a small stash pocket on the inside of the coat running horrizontaly just above the skirt to hopefully minnimize the flatning of your motivation. would need a pass pocket on the wrist under the velcrow or on the shoulder(one with no plastic over the bar code so that shit scans) a bunch of pockets for the essentials tools snacks and such…. its gotta have good ventalation for the backcountry and warm for the powder days. a built in avalanch beakon would be spendy but the shit.

Black coat, yellow special blend logo, very big on the left side of the coat.
Lots of pockets, inside and outside. Waist gaiter, wrist gaiters, pit vents.

  • BRENT!

An orange and purple hooded insulated jacket. The orange on top and purple on bottom (dark bottom goes better for pants should they be brightly colored as they are in today’s style.) The orange and purple would be split diagonally from around the nipple to the bottome of the rib cage. It should come with an extra baggy neck so there is no resistance when you put your head down with the hood on. It should have an ipod pocket on the breast with very easy access. Built in earbuds should come out by the shoulder on both sides and have the optin of being run up into the hood. All zippers should be BIG so they are easy to grasp, especially with the armpit vents. It should have multiple stash pockets: one behind the zipper and one on the back. Obviously it should be compatible with pants and skirts. It should have clips on the sleeves so youll never lose your gloves. Velcro over the main zipper. There should be one breast pocket on the extrior and 1 one the inside, opposite of the ipod/stash side. Also on that same side, a pass holder that stretches out to show people, then velcroes back to the inside. 2 pockets on the bottom as standard on most jackets. Also a pocket on the sleeve. Jackets should have a tough outer shell that won’t rip in a glade. But the interior should be a warm material that dries rather quickly especially by the mouth/hood so saliva doesnt stay with you all day. The special blend logo should be strategically placed once on the back of shoulder in purple, and once on the fron opposite side in orange.

Special Blend, trust me on this one. Navy blue with white trim, big ol’ goose down poofer with a nice size hood and enough pockets to hold your goodies. Simple and classy, stylish and warm.

  • Matthew Crocker

Well my dream jacket would have tons of pockets everywhere with small zippers and a gun holster

  • Kevin Donahue

Green body with purple hood. Stash pocket. Heated

  • Demo

I think it’d be sick to have a snowboard jacket that was all done up to look like nice suit blazer with pants that could match. That’d be nuts to shred the mountain all suited and booted!

  • bmxbryan

a dry erase white board material. that way people can write messages with a Sharpie, or you change it up everyday. Just sayin – best jacket idea ever!

  • Taylor Dwight

My dream jacket would include a velcrow ring in the hood so you can strap in your facemask and a bright neon tanktop design with a hairy fat man design underneath and on the arms. And on the bottom of the sleeve you could put lizard or dragon velcrow straps to tighten the wrists around your gloves and on the hood a strap that could strap down your goggles to prevent any odd case of sliding of goggles
