Where would i go? I would go to New Zealand of Course! Where the mountains are big and the snow is thicker.

  • Zachary Shaver

Mt. Bachelor in Bend Oregon! it is right in my back yard. riding on outback or Northwest on an epic powder day is the best feeling in the world, natural terrain, wind lips, sick tree lines! i love BACHELOR!

  • carl. andrew

hey in my dreams id go to france butifull women loads of cash and food, id take pro riders like lnp travis rice turjai hackoson and the likes killin it in the deep pow . cher

  • Joshua VP

Antarctica …cause, i don’ t think anyone has ever shredded there before…

  • Kevin Raksnis

I would probably go to New Zealand for a backpacking trip with the bros. I think it would be so sick to just set up a little base camp and just live up on the new zealand alpine for a few days. Good times with the bros in the hot sun, grillin at the end of a pow line. Nothing better

  • ximena

Ski Arpa in Chile, South America.
No lifts, no groumed trails… just you and The Andes!
Can`t get more natural than that!

  • Nate Hall

I would go to BeaverCreek!!!!!!!!! Those goggles look sick, I need some Crowbars please.

  • Angrysnowboarder

Baker backcountry cause nothing is scarier than that terrain other than Alaska.

  • riders-union.com

Chugach Heli in AK, then riding Baker BC with Angry. Followed by a trip to Fernie, then to Kicking Horse and Revelstoke. Maybe just kick around in the BC interior for a month or so, then off to Jackson Hole to ride with T.Rice and Guch.

  • Dirk Strykowski

big in Japan, just epic dumps there.

  • Brennan Harvey

For myself It would have to be Cordova or Valdez, just south/east of Anchorage. Alaska. Its so remote and so gnarly that it would be hard to top that experience with 10 lifetimes of riding. The snow doesn’t stop falling there (so I hear) and you work for every turn you make. That is why I think it would be killer to go there. Take care

  • Nate S

I would do a pack trip to the top of San Gorgonio Mtn in the San Bernadino Mountains. I always see it from the top of Bear Mtn and it seems to have snow untill late may. It is the largest mountain in so. cal at almost 12,000 ft. There are some sick bowls and lines. It is kinda crazy to think you could get some incredible backcountry so close to LA. It would make an awesome article to read about too. Just going to a completely new mountain and making turns, building jumps, and dropping cliffs. It is one of those places you wouldnt expect to be there.

  • Jessica Geddis

Shred uppp the Hood!! In Oregon, check out Mt. Hood.

  • burritosandsnow

I think Id like to hit the North Island of Japan during an epic year ( which they did lol). Then hit B.C. Utah and the Alps for the Northern Hemi Season and follow that up with huge lines in Chile. To cap it all off Id hit New Zealand for a final bit of park and pow!

  • Zachary Shaver

Mt. Bachelor in Bend Oregon! it is right in my back yard. riding on outback or Northwest on an epic powder day is the best feeling in the world, natural terrain, wind lips, sick tree lines and best buds! i love BACHELOR!

    damn GRAVATAR wont work!

  • bud_ah_bunz

I’d break it to the crew that stevens pass just aint cutting it and we should hop on a plain and fly out to central asia . I would start out in the Kashmir (india region naturally) for my powder hunt. Then id go to the Ural mountains, since most of them are in Russia or Russian speaking areas and i can speak the language. That would leave us in the eastern hemi might as well hit up the Caucus range some where along the line , then head to Austria/Switzerland/Germany. then fly back states side and hit up Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho on the way back to Washington. Eero would be welcome to come along costhe dude seriously rips and his sponsor’s would have to foot the bill!

  • Graeme Horne

Got to be Glas Maol, Glenshee, Scotland after a fresh dump of the white stuff.:)

  • jesse sorenson

your backyard it s the best place to shred u can change it how ever u like it with a little creativy! but if not red mountain funnest mountain i ve ever been too lots of snow and good times!

  • Rob Riedl

First I would hit Japan up for some glades and pillow lines. Then I would hop on a plane and head to AK for some serious Heli rides!! But thats just me…

  • jesse sorenson

o that red mountain trail bc

  • travis ritenour

breckenridge colorodo,, love it there great rails, and great powder!!!!

  • Jjonze

…But when the snow is falling, then i’m gone
You might think that i’m a fanatic
A phone call from Utah and i’m throwing a panic
Feelin’ this advice for Mr. Ettala
Get your ass to Powder Mountain and ride with this baller!

  • MacKenzie Ryan

Everyone wants to go to some place exotic with super-deep pow–AK, Japan, BC (or some other place in the Northwest), New Zealand–but honestly, these spots take a long time to reach. Maybe I just like semi-instant gratification; maybe I’m just too busy because I’m a graduate student. But I’d hit up Silverton in a heart beat. It doesn’t get crowded, has plenty of untouched, dry-ass San Juan pow, steeps, cliffs, and whatever you can think of in terms of gnarly features. Plus, it’s only a five hour drive, which would maximize riding time.

That said, if I had no time constraints, screw everyone else’s picks. I would go to the Himalayas in India and Tibet. Crazy amounts of snow and really perilous steeps.

  • Jann E

If i could go shred any where in the world, i would go to japan, hands down. ive read what many pros have had to say about it, and some of my friends have gone there to shred too, and they all said that the snow was amazing, but the culture was the best part. the people i would meet, and the culture i would be submerged in would be a lifetime experience

  • SkunkApe

I would go to the north pole and shred with santa

  • Ty Barbo

If I could travel anywhere I would want to ride in Japan. Massive amounts of powder with one of the biggest language barriers in the world; it would truly be a vacation in another world. It would be a lot different than riding in the States. Usually I am scurrying through the weather forecasts trying to find out when its going to snow, but in Japan its rather “when its going to stop snowing.” Next off it would be to my home town of Mammoth to ride some insane parks and hang with my friends. Around July I would head to Valle Nevado in Chile to ride some awesome powder lines and practice my spanish with the Chileans. Next I would fly back home and skate for the next couple of months until the cycle starts again.

  • Alex

I would go to Ski Sundown, my home mtn..because i love it haha….i need new goggles someone stole mine!

  • RIcky Frank

Niseko, Japan for sure. it’s epic there

  • Peanut206

Anywhere? heh…loaded question. Well, if I was blessed with Aladdin’s magic carpet, I’d sail off to the surface of our friendly neighbor, Mars. Bundled up in sub-zero gear and equipped with a solid parasail, I’d spend the entire 25-hour day escapading through the murky shadows of Mars’ rigid landscape…oh, and if I REALLY can have what I want (thanks Terje) I’d bring M.J., he’d probably enjoy a little fresh pow. Who doesn’t?

  • henry

if i had the money and i could go anywhere, i would go to some sick mountain in Japan thats never been heard of and never been shredded, hike it with some buddies, build some kickers/features and shred it all day

  • stephen

somewhere different, somewhere that’s not been tracked or filmed much for a more unique experience, much like Russia in the trailer, so maybes Afganistan, pakistan. It might not be epic, but it’ll be an epic adventure!

  • Ryan Bui

I would just shred everywhere in Tahoe because Tahoe is awesome

  • Kyle

    Wisconsin…’nuff said.

  • fuckiforgotmypass

I would go shred turnagain pass in Alaska to pay respects to an old friend who died in an avalanche there last winter

  • chris

as for day dreams powder is my dream of choice. soon i will get the trip to zurich where the gondolas go for ever covering several countries and unlimited powder runs. that is a dream i have…

  • PJ

I would shred norway for sure. slash some freshies and hike a jump for 3-4 days.

  • Joey Nev

i would go shreddin’ in colorado for sure. Keystone and breck both have sick parks and Mary Jane and vail have some sweet pow riding. It would be dope to film shreddin some of the 14ers too, i havnt seen very much footage of that. Colorado killz baby

  • larry B

I would definately go to either new zealand or japan the have some of the best mountains there, but i dont thing that i could ever actaully go. Too expensive :(

  • Joel Tge DJ brother.

I think I was him i would like the check out New zealand would be a prime spot to go to and try some of the good back country and some of the sick pipes they have.
Another place would be to go to washington state and go for a helie ride. There really is some great spots you could hit up and you dont have to leave the U.s.
most poeple dont know about it so i”d love to go there and get the word out thought the t.y lol. it really helps the economy to if it can stay a little bit more local i think.

  • Joel The DJ

If I was hm I would love to go Just out to washington and take go take a helicopter rides to some of the awsome back country up there. Alot of poeple have never heard about it so it’s great to get the word out about it on t.y. its just a great place to go see and its such an awsome place to go fro not leaving th U.s for some great riding. Helps the economy out a bit too maybe ;-)

  • Felipe Vieira

lets not joke around here, if i could go any where i would go down to Argentina and Chile… Big mountains and plenty of powder… imagine going from 90 degree summer heat to perfect 25 degree shred weather, somethin bout shredin in the summer!

  • Anna Pashkova

Well if I was in his shoes, they would be really big haha but for real i’d definitely love to go to Finland because some amazing snowboarders come from there and of course Australia and Japan, obviously. The most amazing and highest mountains are there even though i broke my hand last year on the terrain park I’d loveeee to go there.

  • Kenneth Palumbo

I’d go to either Austria or Alaska couldnt fully decide but both great f***king powder!! These goggles are sick with it!

  • jaketh

If I was in Eero’s shoes, I’d go in my pants.

  • n33k0

    If I was Eero, (5)
    I would ride Japan’s mountains, (7)
    Shred with some ninjas! (5)

    HAIKU ANSWER!!!

  • Ben Rupp

where would I go? that’s a stupid question…the real question is where wouldn’t I go! the answer is anywhere there isn’t snow. The world is covered by mountains… I would ride every last one of them.

  • Trip strongarm

    I would go home.

  • yarickkwt

To the top of the mountain! Alaska it is!

  • James

Well, this one’s pretty much a no-brainer. If I was in his shoes, I’d probably go to Shandyland or some place like that on a pure friends only get-together jam style session & just have fun for at least a week or two, you know what I mean? Then again, the real truth…, if you was REALly “in his shoes”, or boots, for that matter, you’d pretty much just go wherever you wanted whenever you wanted to ideally, & with your best friends of course, that’s about it! It’s not like he’s really that much different than you or me, he’s just better on the board, that’s about it. Later people, peace!

  • iiro turpeinen

to the sloans of norway up high or to saariselkä when it is -40c and you need some good goggles because it so cold it freezes your eyes

  • titusf.

    PARK CITY MOUNTAIN RESORT.

  • Greg

if i were him id head up to jackson hole because you know if famous riders like travis rice. and the owner of bluebird love living there must be one good reason. the mountains. so i suggest going up there. because im most likely going to try going there this winter too :P

  • Hater hate

If I could go anywhere with Eero, I would go to Bozeman, Montana. I would ride Bridger Bowl with him and than hit up some secret urban spots in town with the world boards crew.

  • spencerdudeman

well you see, the mountains get more snow than the beach!! so i would go to…
    1. the mountains
    2. the mountains in utah
    3. snowbird, utah and shred forever.

  • Kevin

I would go to Summit Country colorado. There is sick Resort riding (A-basin, Keystone, Breck, Copper), ubran rails/features all over, and crazy backcountry. A pefect mix for any rider.

  • mike

If i were in Eero’s kicks I’d head to the island Hokkaido in Japan, no questions asked. Its about the size of Cali right, but it has 700 resorts – way more than the US has. It’s a killer place to shred but it’s totally over looked by North Americans cause a plane ticket to there is through the roof. The pow dumps there are on a whole another level, remember three seasons back? When there wasn’t any snow to go around? Japan had 50 feet that year, it’s impossible to disappoint.

  • jade

If I were in his smelly snowboard boots I would go to somewhere like Borovets in Bulgaria. Clear air and terrain goodies that not many have explored before.

  • JAKE

Man if i was Eero, id be hitting up Kasmir, India. I read a bit on a trip there in some other shred mag. It looks like some of the best powder around, and since its in India, not many people would be going therre. if i was in his shoes, i’d be hitting up anywhere with fresh powder and goodtimes !

  • Afterbangz

If i was Eero, I would go and make snow so I could hit places no one has been before, Why not, if you have the money bring powder to Fiji or some exotic place.

  • Chris

I say try something to different and visit Antarctica. Its summer down there now so it wont be as cold, only -30. There are couple of buildings to jib on at McMurdo Station, but the real prize is the Vinson Massif with 16,066 feet of vertical. This is a pouching opportunity since only a couple snowboarders have done it mostly skiers down there.

  • kevin

definitely asia russia, china, japan and anywhere between
they look really sick, so much different terrain then in the U.S.
And people seems to be nice and mostly terrains looks sick from the clips i’ve seen

  • andrew googins

I would definetly go anywhere with deep powder….the feeling of whisping back and fourth in its light fluffiness, hitting the booters soaring in the the thick blanket with the slightest bit of impact, its like your floating in thin air, such an amazing feeling, its like the perfect dream……. so i would hit the back country, shred the cliff drops and zoom through the trees, that would definetly be the best trip for me

  • llamacode

I would go to the moon!
First Shredder ever in outer space

  • capnz

UK cause theres probobly no good spots. But since Eero is going to be there he’ll make it to a fiesta of sick ass spots

  • stevesteverson

    i would go to disneyworld
because seriously, why would you even want to go anywhere else?

  • abel

YO IRIA A ESPAÑA A BAQUERIA BERET RESORT

  • Matt

If I was Eero, I would go back to my home mountain. Because it was at his home mountain that he learned to snowboard and it was his home mountain that started him on the path he is today!!! But, I wouldn’t just go back and ride it the same. I’d go back with the resources and friends he has now and make something totally unique and creative. Perhaps, look at something he used to do as a kid, and take a whole new perspective on it! That way, Eero could give back to his home mountain and remember what got him to where he is in the first place! Keep it up Eero!!!

  • John

Where would I go if I was Eero? Snowboarding’s “Final Frontier” and no, not Alaska, I mean the Moon. Seriously, no one has ever shredded the moon, there’s no chance of getting arrested for poaching there, limited gravity makes for infinite aerial possibilities, and the semi-recent discovery of ice there means you could totally just throw down some snow you brought in with the shuttle for a lunar rail jam. It could work…

  • Noel

if i was Eero I’d love to go everywhere there’s snow….shred everywhere and meet people of different nationalities like japs, americans and europeans too.

  • Jude

North Korea, cause that place been locked down fo ever, mad new spots, or an Everest type thing, or Taipei, Taiwan

  • cal

I would go to New York City with 4 feet of snow and no one to bust you.
    Endless possibilities.

  • Josh Kaplan

If i were in Eros shoes i would take a crew of Terje Haakonsen, Gigi Ruf, Travis Rice, and Josh Dirksen all up to Alaska for some Big mountain riding, then Whistler B.C. Backcountry. That would be one epic trip.

  • Richard

I dont know if the snows any good but Tibet and the himalayas in a heli sounds like a remarkable experience.

  • Richard

yeah tibet and the himalayan mountains

  • I

I think that I would hit up canada or alaska for the big back country or colorado for the parks, and oregon for in between then japan just for the experience, travel the alps in a big huge van! I like the idea of Russa, then stay the summer in New Zealand and Chilla then start the new sesson in the home town Utah! Eero the vid looks sick! you have got it all man

  • Jesper Andersen

Portillo, Chile just for its history as being the oldest skiing resort in South America and for the great back country

  • fiah in me pants

It would be cool if he went to a place that hasn’t really seen snowboarding. Somewhere where it’s underdeveloped. I would like to see the peoples reaction. It would be sick if he turned a bunch of people on to snowboarding, especially ones who have no idea what it is, just that it looks fun.

  • angus Pragnell

i would walk up to my office through my bosses door and quit. i hate my dead end job and if i won, i would take it as a sign for an awesome winter and just leave

  • Brian

Definitely hit up Tuckerman Ravine on the east side of Mt. Washington in New Hampshire. No lift access, and the ravine holds snow for more than half of the year every year…memorial day east coast backcountry hiking trips…and oh yeah…if you’re going, hit me up and me and my crew will meet you there….

  • Kerry Crunk

Just a few more weeks, before I’m riding wood down the side of a slope. Gravatar Baby!

  • Kyle from PK

There are some sick suggestions already posted on here, Japan, Chile, Jackson Hole are all places i would go given the chance. But if I was in Eero shoes I would rent an pimp, rockstar RV go where the snow goes!

  • Kyle from PK

& it would NOT be Ski Sundown!

  • Kylie Culver

Jackson Hole or Alpine Meadows for sure. Probably leaning towards Alpine Meadows… sick run in dryer powder.. with a killer view of Lake Tahoe.

  • huntizzle

i would go to new zeland just because of the part i saw in thats it thats all it was a very scenic landscape with gnarly mountains it was bloody beautiful!!

  • Derek Campbell

If I could go anywhere it would be New Zealand because it looks like kick ass riding from what I’ve seen in Thats It Thats All

  • Shelf

Mount Everest, sure the air might be a little thin, but it would be worth it. That would be the longest run known to man. And, first tracks anyone? Maybe even while we were up there we would track down some abominable snowmen and have them give us a launch, which pretty sure would rocket us out of the atmosphere. And then we could go kick it with all you guys out shredding on the moon or mars!

  • JR

    Longitude: 121˚11’-135˚05’E Latitude: 43˚25’- 53˚33’N.

The only reason why I know of its existence is because of the Cultural Revolution. In the 1960′s, my mom along with an entire generation of Chinese teenagers were uprooted from their homes and forced to the outskirts of the country for hard labor. Fortunately for my mom, her assignment was to be the local schoolteacher. What was unfortunate was the climate at this NE tip of China, between Russia and Mongolia. Oftentimes, she would wade through waist deep snow just to piggy back students to class. I always imagined what that placed felt like and the lives of the people living there. Does the snow taste differently? If it ever appeared on tv, well, I have never seen it.

For the locals, I wonder what their reaction to pro snowboarding would be. It would be awesome to bring this sport to that corner of the world where 38 million reside! For Eero, it could be new conditions, new tracks, new stories, new friends, new smells/tastes! For the crew, probably the same old challenge in a new location haha. And as for the viewer, it would be a visual feast truly only possible in this day and age…

    Be well!

  • Jacob Wehler

I would probably go to western China, in the Himalayas. I would go wherever the food is good too. Good food+Amazing Sessions=Awesomeshizzelyness!

  • Jesse C

home resort to ride with all my buddies i grew up with

  • Chan

Buy a Volkswagen Transporter and take it for a roadtrip through the alps.
    - Impossible Is Nothing -

  • matt bolen

pardon me, may I spread your love?

  • Kellan Roman-Barnes

First i must say that the song in that video is like the BEST choice ever. Metric is the most awesomist snowboarding music. If I could go anywhere i would probably go everywhere. From the backcountry of Whistler and Japan to the streets of SLC, it would be the most intense trip EVER.

  • Doug Clarke

    Hakuba in Japan!
Locals stick to the pistes, leaving back country fresh and wide open for me!
Over 100 lifts so no crowds. Definitely hit it up in February when the big DUMPS

  • Doug Clarke

    Hakuba in Japan!
Locals stick to the pistes, leaving back country fresh and wide open for me!
Over 100 lifts so no crowds. Definitely hit it up in February when the big DUMPS come in! Head over for a bit of fun in the park or if feeling rebellious go shred up the town. Then finish off your day with a cup of Saki!

  • Chris Contini

I would go board in Chili. It would be awesome to go somewhere south of the equator, couldn’t wait to see how the powder compares!!

  • Will Sardinsky

    lucky # 7

  • Mike Berezenko

i wold go to Russia because there is alot of spots that never been hit or seen

  • Tanner Miller

where would i go? I would start on a custom tour around the world heading east first, i live in PA so i would hit Vermont first, great powder nice slopes, the works, then hit up france and have some fun in the alps, alot of back country while im there, next id hit up Turkey, then Russia, New Zealand, Russia, Alaska, and then maybe Oregon, and North Dakota. Oh! Definitely Canada, the great white north! Lots of Places with Drop cliffs and deep powder! Lot of down hill fun! Thats Where i’d go.

  • Liam

ALASKA no doubt! there is no where bigger or more dangerous

  • Nick Neeley

I would go to finland because u can pretty much do anything there and there is amazing rails there also to ride with fredu sirvio and Risto Roukola Beast riders also i would go to Japan with Joe Sexton And the whole stepchild team to ride the other rails that jp and simon have riden on in “this video sucks” I would want toride anywhere in europe pretty much because the have very nice clean rails and the best setups for riding.
