I’m standing at the top of a mountain; cold air and silence surround me. My body trembles with each breath that freezes and falls to the ground. I stare down at the path below me; an angry frost swallows my goggles, and a sly wind kicks up the snow around me. I’m tired, I’m hungry, I’m scared and I’m cold. I wonder to myself how I ended up at this peak, first time on a board, and not a friend in sight. My heart beats faster and faster and I know there is only one way down. I look at my board and whisper out loud “Ok board, I dunno if I like you, and you may not like me but somehow we’re getting through this together”. I strap in and inch my way to the top of the run. The wind picks up and pushes me over the edge. My board begins speeding down the steep slope and I’m thinking “Ya! I’m doing it! I’m doing it! I’m….” SMASHHHHHHHH……I catch an edge and go flying into the woods. I don’t know if I hit the tree or the tree hit me, but I definitely feel the pain. I sit there for a second, take in the moment and think “Wow, THAT WAS AWESOME!”

What is the meaning of life? My philosephy is that your take life everyday at a time, you go big or you go home. At least thats what i think when i stand on the top of the hill before i go down. I should be like all no i might kill myself. lol but the only way to suceed in life is to do the unthinkable.
