It would be lame of me to label Bryan Fox the Johnny Cash of snowboarding, but to my credit, the dude does wears a lot of black (and camouflage sometimes), doesn’t adhere to many of the necessary requirements of his peers (i.e., contests, autograph signings, talking), and basically goes about his business on his own terms. All kidding aside, Fox has found a way to mold his snowboard career the way he wants it to play out—a business model that I’m sure many of his pro-horts wish they could carbon copy and place in their pockets. After growing up in SoCal, Bryan escaped the hustle and bustle of the Golden State and relocated to Welches, Oregon, where he currently resides with his mainstay Sally in their deciduous woodland dwelling just a stone’s skip away from some of the Pacific Northwest’s best terrain at Mt. Hood Meadows. Fox’s relative proximity to the off-piste has paid off, as the dude can ride out of bounds and under control, from backcountry booters to pant-shitting chutes and all terrain in between. Iv loved snowboarding pretty much since i was born, but never been alowed to do it :as it is too dangerous" haha, just finally been alowed to, that gear is just amazing!!
