Eero Ettala had his hands full last winter. You wouldn’t think so, since it was Eero’s first season in recent memory where he wasn’t tied down with a full-time film crew, but when Mike McIntyre (aka Mack Dawg) publicized that he wouldn’t be making a movie, Eero set out to manhandle the media his own way. With a grip of clips in Absinthe’s Neverland, his own television show (Tracking Eero) on Fuel TV, a new website (ettala.com), and more coverage in this publication than ever before (read our December issue for proof), Ettala proved to the public that he didn’t need an ender film part to generate hype. In fact, it turned out to be quite the opposite, as the rider known for switch double backs may have doubled his media coverage from winters prior. Eero is one of the world’s most gifted riders of the new millennium, and ever since he touched down on American soil he has given so much to snowboarding, and he’d like to extend his thanks to our readers by giving away his entire promodel setup for absolutely free.
