While these riders left their stock runs at home when they crossed into Canada to compete in the 2010 Olympic Halfpipe event, they did bring along their stock info. Here we include the vitals of each rider including their home hills, stance and sponsors. The latter may come in handy considering that the International Olympic Committee has decreed that those sponsors who have supported these riders throughout their careers cannot promote their association with said athletes while the Olympics are happening. That is so long as they choose not to become an “official sponsor of the Olympics.” Seriously, just check the Burton or K2 websites where Shaun White, Kelly Clark, Hannah Teter and Gretchen Bleiler are conspicuosly absent. Really seedy stuff!

Snowboarding {along with skateboarding) are the most entertaining and exciting sports ever invented. I will be a life long fan. It iz my dream to attend the Winter Olympics (as a fan-I don't know how to snowboard) in 2014. We will see. I am a massage therapist and have worked with athletes (including 2 dressage olympians) for 15 fun-filled years. I luv my job. I know that pain iz a deterrent to top-level performance. Hence I have seen my clients (including horses) go from training level...ALL the way to National Championships and Grand Prix level. I felt that might be useful information to share! Also I want to learn to snowboard. Preferably by Shaun White...He seems to be a friendly down-to-Earth person. I credit him for grabbing my attention to an unfamiliar sport. Best wishes from NY! -Mymy
