Shaun White made his first and only appearance at Superpark in 2000. I feel like a douche when I look back on this because I drew a hard line that he was only allowed to bring one of his family members with him. He was only like 13 at the time but the usual routine for Shaun at the time was to have his parents, brother and sister roll with him everywhere. They agreed and Shaun rolled in with his mom Cathy. Burton Creative Director Evan Rose tried to convince Cathy to convert Shaun to Judaism so they could give him a Bah Mitzvah as a way to make money. Instead, Shaun simply rode and with moves like this 50-50 to frontside bonk to fakie up these stairs, and a lot of other people were converted and started believing. I also started calling Shaun "the Egg" because of his last name White as in Shaun "the Egg" White.
