Bode Merrill is probably the best thing to happen to snowboarding since the release of the Panosonic HVX. For the past few seasons NBD's have become Bode's MO as every session he enters seems to end with a daring stunt that puts him among a very select group of riders who truly are changing the perception of what is humanly possible on a snowboard. Yet despite being seriously good, Bode doesn't take any of it all too seriously. The Palmer Snowfield at Mount Hood is paramount within Bode's pedigree and in turn, the good times he had while coming up on the glacier inspired him to host his own event on July 31st, 2012. With the intention of putting a focus back on style, Bode rallied a group of like-minded shreds to take part in his Mini Pipe Invitational.
