Boreal Team Video Challenge: Semi-Finals Round 1

The first round of the Team Video Challenge presented by Boreal has come to an end, with Heckler edging out a victory over Laced. A big thanks to all the teams who participated in this years Team Video Challenge.

The first two teams to go head-to-head in the semi-finals are bHappy vs Jibles and Bits. bHappy won last year, do they have what it takes to win again? Not if Jibles and Bits team captain and 2009 Team Video Challenge Standout Rider Jake Devine and crew have anything to say about it. Good luck to both teams!

    The snow boarding is amazing in both so much talent out there, and they both have some great shots that are very creative. I like Bhappy because of the film quality and the mood it creates. The film represents the camaraderie among the boarders and the fun they have when snowboarding. The music is perfect and well timed to the filming as well. I also like that it has a beginning and ending. Would still love to see more ladies snowboarding in the films. Bhappy wins my vote this round.

    b happy had a point, the other video had good snowboarding but wasn’t that good of snowboarding. Kibbles and bits was off and on in goodness levels and b happy kept me hot the whole way through. B Happy goes down in history as heroic. when you throw in psychedelic clips in a snowboarding video it looses my attention fast. Good luck next year to Bhappy, I know you guys will get it right next time.

    iiiii don’t think anybody cheated, but it’s definitely not the right way to pick the winner of 5 g’s by letting it be ppls vote. haha what about the banshee bungee contest those guys are getting like maybe 2 g’s worth of stuff making full on edits out in the streets hitting real stuff. boreal pre-season park edit for 5 g’s…….?that ain’t right. atleast wait till the park is popping off to give out 5 g’s. this contest was a joke even before the voting frenzy even started.     Hey lets all face it, this contest does not matter on how good the filming, editing, riding, and in bhappy’s case choreography is. This contest only matters on how many friends you have on facebook and twitter and all that other stuff and in this round Jibles and Bits had just a few more friends than Bhappy.

It comes off as fake, act like you’ve landed a trick before in your lifetime, hugging and cheering is worse then the dudes in the NFL dancing around in the endzone.
