I ran into Danny when I lived and translated at resorts in Japan. Dude was a ball of energy and was seriously straight up going nuts. Made my stomach hurt so bad with laughter. Danny Davis is by far my favorite Analog rider. I live in wisconsin and he grew up riding at copper mountain in michigan which isnt to far away from where i live. Most pro riders grow up out west and get the chance to ride big resorts everyday and get everything handed to them. But danny is differnet than most riders, he focuses more on riding and having a good time instead of winning contests or getting the next big paycheck. When his FREND, Kevin Pearce, got injured, Danny was by his side the whole time until he hurt himself on an atv in Park City. After reading the interview of Danny about the accident and the recovery, i had a completley different view of who he was. He had to work for everything he has now. I really look up to danny and think of him as one of the best riders in the history of the snowboarding.

Mikkel Bang for sure. He's got the most floaty, buttery, steezy style on the scene. He can throw double corks, 2-sev's, presses, cabs, anything! His bag of tricks is deeper than most, and it's got that flair that no one else has. The biggest reason he's my favourite is because he'll do whatever he feels like at a comp. X Games Big Air last year, Halldor (ICELLLAAANNNDDD) is throwin perfect double corks, Flanagan is going for doubles too (at 16!) and Mikkel is throwin down the steez with back 5's! Sure he didn't win, but he did it for the fun, he ain't in the game for the fame, he's in it for his own reasons, and that is what snowboardings about!

Jeff Anderson is my favorite rider, Met him in aspen and gave me some good words of wisdom, his insight into the whole world of snowboarding was the best! I want to say that Trevor Andrew aka Trouble Andrew is my favorite rider. i remember when he was affectionately referred to as Virgil Haakonsen and TRZA. I consider Trevor Andrew to be the Snowboard equivalent of Chad Muska. Trevor is a fashion icon as well as snowboard icon. He's also making some great music, and I don't mean great music for a snowboarder. He's got a unique fashion style that he pulls off as well. I have enjoyed both his self-titled album, as well as the more recent 'Trouble gang mixtape'. There is a pretty huge plethora of legally free music right now, but the The Trouble Gang mixtape ended up being a favorite mixtape, and is, in my opinion, a musical step forward. 'I'm wasted' is actually one of my favorite songs of the year, and I didn't even have to pay for it. I was already stoked on Spank Rock, and Lil Jon is always wild, but it introduced me to the Mr. Move. It was a Trevor Andrew interview that brought to my attention the Eight Dayz song he covered called 'What's so strange about me?'. That song took me back to when I was really young and my older brother was watching the Santa Cruz skate vids. Plus it's a Claus Grabke song, and my older brother had a Claus Grabke melting clocks skateboard back in the 80's. Trevor Andrew happens to have one of the nicest looking McTwist's in snowboarding. I have to respect that he came out Nova Scotia to boot. Thinking of Nova Scotia makes me think of Donair, Buck 65, and Scratch Bastid. All of those three things are essential things to look into by the way. I don't know the state of their relationship, but that last Santigold (formerly Santogold) album was hot fire. CTG Records!

Trevor Andrew hands down! This guy kinda went M.I.A. last season and it sucks. Hes got the sweetest grungy style. Trev can huck tricks just as well and he can tweek em. Hearing his music in movies is almost as good as seeing him riding in them, but not quite. Come back Trev, I better see you riding up at whis this season!

Mikkel Bang. 1.) Because I remember watching him in "Lost in Transition" when he was so young and silly. The beginning of his section is him laughing so hard then he straight kills it, gap to backlip down a double set, so sick. I knew he'd be big after that section because of his style and how big he went. 2.) Because he's hilarious. Laughed so hard in "It's Always snowing somewhere" when he's got his fake stache on. He's just an amazing rider with a personality that are riders should have.

I have to say my favorite rider on the analog team is hands down Arto Saari, now i understand Arto is on the skate team not the snow team but its crucial to why i started skating in the first place, which then led me to snowboarding. Arto has always been on the top of his game, both in the skating world and in his style, which doesn't surprise me that he would be on the analog team which supports riders on all sorts of boards whether they be on snow, concrete or water. Arto rules, he's why i skate which morphed into why i jib. Case and point

Danny Davis. I love his whole attitude about snowboarding. Its about having fun with your friends and at the end of the day the only thing that matters is chilling with your friends and having a fun time on the slopes. However with that being said, when he has to, Danny can compete with the best and knows how to put down a sick run. It was so much fun watching him in the halfpipe prior to the Olympics and I wish him a speedy recovery.
