After 12 films, absinthe's video this year, "Twel2ve" proved to be the best one yet. A perfect blend of incredible powder riding and street ham-bones. The cinematography consisted of Alaska heli filming, zip line follow cams, and raw street footage. Nicolas Muller and Gigi Ruff never cease to blow minds with innovating natural terrain and two of the best styles to ever grace snowboarding. Dan Brisse and Johnny Paxson have incredible parts that include massive double corks, heavy street spots, and two of the most horrific bails caught on film. Mat Schaer, the young buck from switzerland, has some awesome tricks in his debut section. Debari and Blair Hebenicht showcased gnarly big mountain lines. Not to mention standout parts from Wolle, Boulanger, DCP, Solberg, and DeMarchi. It was the hometown hero Bode Merrill's big night and he stole the show with a two song ender. His part consisted of two sections, a back country segment and a street segment. Each one contains face melting hammers all the way through. The night ended with ice cold beers and loud "BODE" chants on the 50 person tour bus back to Salt Lake City.
