Rider: Jeremy Thompson. Location: US Open, Stratton, VT. This day was miserable. In true Vermont fashion, it was raining. And I had to stand on the side of a slopestyle course wearing a trashbag not only myself, but also my camera. One of my lenses ended up getting completely ruined that day. But the rainy/foggy conditions made for an interesting atmosphere so I wasn't stuck just shooting your typical contest shots. Plus I have a soft spot for misty photos, and not in a weird way.

Laura Austins photos are amazing and incredible work. Clarity, color dimension. Makes you feel as though you are there. I have raced down the slopes on ski’s but seeing the perspective from the boarder is truly amazing.

These are absolutely stunning shots, Speaking as someone who looks at photography all day long (I work in Advertising Creative Services) If Laura’s not doing this full-time, she needs to be, she’s very talented.
