Rider: Sammy Luebke. Location: Terrace, BC. When Bridges hit me up to go up to Terrace and heli with Standard, I simply could not say no. I envisioned endless pow, with some sunny days and perfect conditions. Well, we got endless pow, but not a peep of sunlight, and it turned out to be one of the snowiest trips I have ever been on. On a day where we could not fly, we landed near the cat operation headquarters and milked some pillow poppers. It felt akward flying into, and sessioning a spot that was stock sidecountry.

To bring in the New Year and celebrate the past we are bringing you "New Year's High Resolution" photo galleries from SNOWBOARDER Magazine's senior photographers and staff of their top 10 photos from the 2010-2011 season. The next "Top 10" gallery comes from the most recent addition to the SNOWBOARDER Magazine staff, associate photo editor, Mike Yoshida. During the summer months when not out in the field shooting some of the top pro snowboarders, Yosh is in the SNOWBOARDER offices shooting some of the top product for the magazine. Here is what he has to say about last season:

"People always ask me throughout the entire season 'Have you been having a good year?' and I usually reply with 'I don't know'. The reason why I never have a clear definitive answer is because, after all is said and done, what really makes it good? Is it the experience of traveling somewhere new? Or is it how many covers you bagged? Or is it your favorite photo you ever took, that never made it to print? Or is it simply doing what you love for a living? I guess for me, it's all of the above, and so I've answered my own question, 'yes, it's been good, and I can't wait for more!' - Mike Yoshida
