Rider: Wolle Nyvelt. Location: Saas Fee, Switzerland. I think this photo is number one. It’s my favorite. This is Wolle Nyvelt in Saas Fee, Switzerland. We had gotten a small dusting of snow the night before (even though it looks like more, it really wasn’t that much) and Wolle started shredding. For those of you who don’t know, Wolle is a man’s man. He’s powerful as fuck, and he definitely has the best slash in all of snowboarding. This is the perfect example. He put up a school bus-sized spray with a few inches of accumulation to work with. Wolle is so rad, and I really appreciate the weight of this photo. Meaning, that if someone had told me years ago that I would shoot a photo like this of Wolle Nyvelt I would’ve told them that they were fucking insane.
