To say that Grenade Games was a whirlwind of a weekend would be an understatement. Seven events, musical performances that included headliners NOFX, a litany of talented riders, free-flowing beverages, and a grip of the original Grenerds combined to create a massive celebration of snowboarding and good times. The sun was out, both the jumps [...]

The brothers Mitrani, Scotty Lago, and Kevin Pearce have busy schedules. When they're not spending time strapped in, they're assisting AMP Energy with their external communications and awareness. All together, these guys make up the cast of a persuasive and awkward version of "Mad Men".

Pat Moore headed to Timber Ridge Vermont to check out The Frendly Gathering, so we had him check in with us on just what the hell Danny Davis, Jack Mitrani, and the rest of the Frends crew had going on out in the woods of Vermont. From the looks of the video they had a whole lot of good times, good music, good vibes, and good people. Film and edit by Robert Grieb

You can argue that lately halfpipe contests have become too predictable, with straight air victory laps becoming the norm. The finals at the Pantech Invitational however, were quite the opposite. With the New England weather finally cooperating and the Killington superpipe looking perfect, the final turned into one of the best pipe events I have ever seen.

Mammoth Mountain started off the season on a good note. Pow turns and a full park welcomed riders from all over the country and once the lifts shut down each afternoon it wasn't long before the nightlife started up in full force.

What do you call a fraternity for huckers? Tri Landa Air. Get it? Well now you can add Frends to snowboarding’s Fraternity Row as they put Eric Jackson through “Hell Day.” Danny Davis really pulls off the pledge master bit in this one. Thank you Frends can we have another.

Between the TTR, FIS, Dew Tour and Winter X Games, there have been 27 major snowboard contests scheduled between December 2010 and March 2011 at venues all across the world. Each organization schedules its event series without taking into account the event schedule set by other organizations, which results in a contest calendar that is not only crowded, but where major competitions conflict with each other. Scheduling conflicts force riders to choose between events, which not only divides the competitive field, it devalues the viewing experience for fans who watch competitions where not all the top riders are participating.
