Snowboarding on the beach seems like something that was only possible in your dreams but for the ladies of the S3 Supergirl Rail Jam it became a reality. With more than 20 tons of snow trucked in two-dozen top female riders took over Southern California’s Venice Beach with one thing in mind, winning the title of Miss Supergirl 2011, and not to mention $2,500 in cold hard cash. Thousands of spectators got to witness the ladies throwing down technical tricks on urban style features while being able to hang out on the beach. Elite pros and up and comers all joined together to show people what girls jibbing is all about. With summer coming to an end and the new season quickly approaching Supergirl was just a preview of what to expect from these ladies. While the competition was fierce the girls who came out on top were: Fourth place, Madison Blackley, third place, Desiree Melancon, second place, Danyale Patterson, and taking the title of Miss Supergirl, and the cash Laurie Currier.
