YKWII/Ride
The man behind the HVX in YKWII’s Superpark® Showdown edit is none other than Tommy Little. Last year, the YKWII had a strong inaugural showing, but were bumped out. This year, however, they’ve got their eyes dead set on the five grand up for grabs with a solid edit of their Superpark® experience. Featuring Yuki Kadono, Alex Stathis, Joe Mango, Jeremy Cloutier, Ted Borland, Forest Bailey, and Chuck Evans, YKWII’s footage is short and sweet. Highlights include Austin Hironaka’s switch method on the rail cube and Todd Kirby, who we at SNOWBOARDER were stoked to see, due to the fact that the dude worked to get to Superpark® by way of our sister event series, Superpass. If you’re hyped on the acronym-monikered YKWII, then go ahead and LTV…”like” this video.

Trip Brown
Pennsylvania native Trip Brown’s Superpark® Showdown submission is a nice aside from some of the more cinematic Showdown edits, which lends more to “We were here” rather than “Wish you were here.” The fact that it has no rider names might bother a few people, but luckily for you, we at SNOWBOARDER qualify all of our videos before you watch them, so take note of what you’re about to witness. Forest Bailey and Alex Stathis in the air rather than on metal, Scott Vine and his back seven rewind, Jeremy Cloutier, Luke Haddock, Ben Bilocq’s air-to-fakies, Kade Madsen, the legendary Peter Line, Cody Boan, Will Jackways, Nate Farrell, Griffin Siebert, Yale Cousino’s insane gap to front lip, and more. Trip’s looking to take down Tommy Little and YKWII on his way to the $5,000 ponied up by Gatorade, so if you’re down for the Brown, click the “Like” link below this edit.

at Tom: What are you even talking about?! Most of the kids looked like they truely knew what they were doing instead of looking like kids who only want a couple shots to put their name to. And that is all snowboarding edits have been for the past couple years...just kids following the bandwagon jib style and claiming to be raw snowboarding. YKWII guys all had shit in mind to show why their better in terms of editing and riding.

the ride edit half the kids looked like they were in a usasa contest. trips vid is raw something that you don't see in snowboarding anymore.

That hip front 7 was INSANE. Ykwii showed some tricks that weren't in other edits from some actually interesting angles. Trip's edit was good but I do like my edits to be 'cinematic'
