TORSTEIN’S THEORY OF EVOLUTION
It’s been a few years since Torstein first touched down on American soil. Since then, Horgmo has evolved into one of the most well-rounded riders in the world—a do-it-all shred with a natural competitive drive and a list of tricks that would make Elliott Spitzer pop wood. Fellow Norwegian and Torstein’s elder Andreas Wiig adds to Horgmo’s all-around reputation, saying, “He killed it in contests and got an insane video part, as well. Congrats, Torstein!”
SETTING THE STANDARD
Torstein’s Black Winter opener was one for the ages. From backcountry jumps to urban assaults, Horgmo crushed it with a plethora of trickery reminiscent of David Benedek à la Robot Food. Former Video Part of the Year recipient Eero Ettala exclaims, “His section is one of the most well-rounded video parts ever.”

One of the most talked-about video shots of the year is arguably Torstein’s top-to-bottom Park City run—one take, one try. While Torstein takes it to the public park, every kid who witnesses this feat immediately wishes they could ride like him, and when it comes to popularity, envy is a huge factor.
