Consistency is key. You might be trying a trick that is harder than what anyone else is doing, but when it comes down to it… is a matter of if you land or not. Proving not to be a problem for Finland’s Enni Rukajärvi, she was able to maintain composure throughout her winning run, which included a cab 720 over the Money Booter. Enni Rukajärvi was able to stay consistent though out her runs, especially considering this was her first appearance at the Winter X Games. In this competition she proved that she is the one of the females to beat in slopestlye.

Jenny Jones took 2nd at the Winter X Games 15 Women's Slopestyle. P: Ned Cremin
The pressure was on Kjersti Buaas after she was knocked off the podium before her final chance. Unfortunately, she was unable to pull out the run she wanted to in order get back into medal contention. A similar amount of pressure was put on Jenny Jones in attempt to steal the number one spot back from Enni on her final run. Jenny looked like she had it in the bag until her final hit where she washed out. In which case she had to settle for a silver medal. Rounding out the top three was one of the most coveted female slopestyle riders, Jamie Anderson. It will definitely be interesting to see how this field progresses as the competition season moves on.
