Sure, this quarterpipe air is huge, and Luke’s style is super good, but...Frends is a headphone company? WTF? OMG!

Luke Mitrani is the Jed Anderson of halfpipe. What I mean is, with all of the hype that surrounded his pre-pubescent snowboard career, Luke was dubbed “the next big thing” in pipe riding, and many people thought he might’ve been throwing in the towel after a brief furlough from the freestyle platform, but Luke wasn’t quite ready to call it quits. Rather, he was tending to a few nagging injuries, and as of last winter, Luke’s officially back on the scene, all healed up and ready to give ‘er. And the kid’s better than ever. Mitrani’s mindset has changed as well, as he’s taking a looser approach to a discipline that stereotypically praises robotic acrobatics, rather than the more organic style that Luke exudes. Luke’s currently sitting on a handful of moves that could put him in contention for one of the four spots on the US Olympic halfpipe team, and it wouldn’t surprise me to see him standing atop the podium in Vancouver, cause every underdog has his day.

FRESH

Musicians: I really have respect for people who know how to jam out.

Camping: Nothing is much better than partying with your Frends at a campfire.

Skateboarding: Always a good time checking out new skate spots and parks.

Traveling: Exploring and adventuring until your head explodes.

Homecooking: Good home cooked meals are pretty effin’ fresh.

Anything That Involves Snowboarding: Powder, methods, handplants, Craig Kelly, anything.

Frends Headphones: Yup. Frends is officially a headphone company.

TRACKED

Fast Food: I hate on it all day but I’m there everyday. It’s a love-hate relationship.

Government: Nobody should be able to tell us what we can and can’t do.

Money: People just work and make money so they can buy a bigger house and have a nice car. Why can’t we just be satisfied with what we have? That’s tracked.

Working Out: Going to the gym.

People Who Don’t Recycle: Idiots.

My Car: It is pretty tracked from driving across the country so many times this year.
