The ghosts of Olympic past will be present Jan. 22-23 as the Grand Prix makes its final tour stop at Park City Mountain Resort- the venue for the Olympics- to announce the 2010 U.S. Olympic halfpipe team.

The historic pipe where the U.S. swept the men’s podium and won gold in the women event during the Salt Lake City Olympics in 2002 will host Olympians once again. Back-to-back night competitions will entertain the crowds, after which the winners will be crowned and the 2010 Olympic halfpipe team will be named.

Park City Mountain Resort’s Grand Prix will feature a reduced field comprised of only the highest-scoring athletes from previous tour stops. They’ll throw down their most progressive tricks in an attempt to be one of the few named to the Olympic halfpipe team when the event is over. The event is sure to be a spectacle, with live entertainment and action-packed competition in an amazing atmosphere.
