Mt. Holly, MI – February 25, 2009 – Following up on a highly attended stop at Chestnut Resort, IL the Red Bull Butter Cup series presses on West. Mt. Holly, MI will be host to the series on Saturday, February 27th. Being the largest resort in southeastern Michigan and within driving distance of surrounding major metros, it has attracted a slew of local riders plus those traveling from Detroit, Grand Rapids and Toledo.

The Red Bull Butter Cup series and its custom built butter pads will literally be a showstopper with Mt. Holly closing down its terrain park to accommodate for the series. Event registration runs from 10am-12pm with the competition starting at 1pm. Wax up your board and brings your best for what is sure to be a packed house.

The Red Bull Butter Cup series is all about how much style snowboarders can spread onto the custom-made features also known as “butter pads.” Riders will jib, bonk, tap and slide across the pads, making sure to spread the tricks on smooth. Local riders will battle it out in a jam format for cash and prizes, where overall style and creativity will help the cream rise to the top.

Upcoming Red Bull Butter Cup stops take place at Mt. Holly, MI (2/27) Holiday Valley, NY (3/6) Devils Head, WI (3/13) & Summit Board Shop, MN (3/27)
