Forced to skip the Arctic Challenge due to a rib injury at Munich Air&Style, Seb Toots came back home last week to receive treatments. He worked on a intense program over the week and been okay’d to get back to business on Friday. Despited not being 100 %, he filled a late registry for Saturday’s Snowboard Jamboree FIS Big Air in beautiful downtown Quebec City, in front of a frenzy crowd of his own, rooting for him and the 5 other Canadians in Final.

Sebastien took the victory by smoothly dropping down the « Tootsie Roll » (Back 10 double cork melon) on his third run. He landed a FS double cork 1080 melon in the second lap after missing his first jump due to heavy winds. Cumulative 56.5, 5.5 points over the 2nd place, Matts Kulisek, also from Montreal. Kulisek scored 51.0 with a frontside 1080 and a switch backside 900.

Toutant is the current leader of the FIS standing with two slopestyle events to go.
