Vans and Pro-tec are proud to introduce our newest snow contest, the Hi-Standard Double Big Air in Winter Park, CO on Saturday, April 16th.
With the progression of snowboarding over the last five years, we’ve seen riders doing Switch Backside 1260′s to Triple Corks on a regular basis and the level of riding is through the roof. While the progression and serious tricks will still amaze, the Hi Standard Double Big Air gets us “back to the basics” with style. The Hi Standard is a double big air jump contest with the rider limited to spinning less than 720. Anything over a 720 and the run is disqualified. This is a Big Air done the Vans way, where core style and creativity will get you the win.
