Wolf Creek Opening Saturday
October 7

Wolf Creek Ski Area received 36” of snow from the recent autumn storm and will be operating three lifts and selling $33 lift tickets on Saturday, Oct 8th and Sunday, Oct. 9th. The early-October opening is a record for Wolf Creek and makes it the first resort in the country to kick-off the 2011/2012 season.
In honor of Wolf Creek’s astonishingly early opening, the Outlaw Snowdown – an alt-country music and shred fest taking place in Pagosa Springs this January –
is offering 25% off the music-portion of their passes. This weekend only, a three-day music pass will set you back just $75.
With a line-up of artists that run the gamut from Red Dirt and Cowpunk to Americana and Outlaw, the one thing each act has in common is a kick-ass, live country show. Confirmed talent includes Supersuckers, Hellbound Glory, Stoney Larue, Jason Boland & the Stragglers, The Band of Heathens and Elizabeth Cook with more to be announced.
Tickets for the Outlaw Snowdown can be purchased at http://outlawsnowdown.frontgatetickets.com/. Enter “wolfcreek” as the promo code at checkout between now and Sunday, Oct. 9th, to receive the discount, which is applicable on Ski & Soak packages as well.
Ride Wolf Creek by day and howl at the moon by night. The Outlaw Snowdown – big fun in a small (ski)town!
