South Lake Tahoe, Calif. – May 13, 2010 – The 2010 USASA National Championships concluded this year of competition for the PacSun USASA Team.  Each year after Nationals, the PacSun USASA Team Roster is finalized. Athletes are selected for the team based both on their results at Nationals as well as other major national and international events that took place over the course of the year.
The 2011 PacSun USASA roster is now complete, and consists of 20 athletes representing half-pipe, slopestyle, boardercross and giant slalom.  The PacSun USASA athletes are the top amateur snowboarders in the country. Many go on to become pros and find their niche in the world of professional snowboarding, creating valuable careers and lasting achievements.
“This years team is incredible; we have returning members like Faye Gulini who finished 12th in Boardercross at the Olympics, and are welcoming new members like Taylor Gold and Spencer Shaw which have consistently pulled phenomenal results at high level national events”, explains Jason Toutolmin, USASA’s Executive Director, “I have faith that our 2011 team has talent that top pros will have to pay attention to.”
PacSun USASA Coach Miah Wheeler added, “The USASA is proud to partner with PacSun to give our athletes on the PacSun USASA Team opportunities to excel in competitive snowboarding.  We are stoked to have such a diverse and committed team—the future of snowboarding is in good hands.”
