There are few people on this planet that have more fun on their snowboard than Forest Bailey, and anyone who has ever witnessed what Forest does when he’s strapped in will tell you that it directly translates in his riding. Being raised by two Deadhead hippie parents in small-town Vermont gave Forest a very introspective outlook on life and when he found snowboarding, he utilized his unguarded disposition to carve out a spot for himself in snowboarding’s professional ranks. Currently, Forest is one of the most popular snowboarders in the world, as his style is contrastingly flawless and relatable at the same time, and as he gets older his temperament only becomes more laid back because Forest is beginning to understand why and how this all happened, and that’s because he chose to simply have fun riding a snowboard. Re-introduce yourself to Forest Bailey with this WELCOME, as he embarks on a whole new phase in his snowboard career.
“I am influenced by everything around me. Whether that’s good snowboarders with good style, or my family, friends, musicians, artists, photographers, videographers. I try and keep an open mind so I can continue to gain knowledge about all of these different things. I am so lucky to know hundreds of truly talented humans, so I try and learn from all the people I’m surrounded by.” Forest Bailey
ABOUT THE WELCOME DOCUMENTARY SERIES
The WELCOME documentary series is less of an introduction to the adidas Snowboarding team and more of an introspection into who these riders are, what drives them, where they came from, and where they’re headed in the future.
WELCOME is an inside look at the roads that ultimately brought Jake Blauvelt, Forest Bailey, Eric Jackson, Helen Schettini, Keegan Valaika and Kazu Kokubo to this very moment in time; the official unveiling of the adidas Snowboarding team.
