Big air was the name of the game for the fourth ANTPM 2010 event and pipe jocks battled it out alongside film pros and rail riders for ...
Boardsports Inc, in cooperation with Lib Tech, Mission Six, Gnu, Monix, and Bent
Metal, are proud to present "Shoot To Thrill", a celebration of the death of
summer.
The evening will begin with tracks being spun by the Brothers of Beat and will
continue as we show two of the hottest new snowboard videos, "Back in Black" (A
Kingpin Production) and "Night of the Living Shred" (A Soldiers of the Frozen
Battlefield Production) and Boardsports' own skate team video, "re-burth" (A
Justin Carlson Film). We will have tons of free gear, including outfits from
Mission Six/Monix and snowboards from Lib Tech and Gnu, to be given away. Once
the movies have run their due course and all the free gear has found new homes,
Hell's Belle will take the stage and rock us into the night.
It's a bit unfair to call Hell's Belles an AC/DC cover band. Yes, it's true their
set consists entirely of AC/DC songs and they do have a guitar player that looks
as if she's been raiding Angus Young's closet. Â But there's a bit of cheesiness
that is implied in the term "cover band" in that sinking feeling of "Oh my God,
I'm stuck in a Vegas hotel lounge with a bunch of geriatrics and a deaf
bartender." Well, forget that painful concept. Â Hell's Belles will grab that
hokey cover band by the balls and squeeze until the only air left in the room is
hot, loud, and sticky with sweat. Â Plain and simple, these ladies know how to
rock!
This snowboard/skate video and live music event will be featured at the McDonald
Theatre in Eugene, Oregon, on Friday, November 7. Tickets are on sale now at all
TicketsWest outlets and at Boardsports, Inc for $10 in advance and $12 day of
show. If not sold out, tickets will also be available at the McDonald Theatre Box
Office day of show beginning at 5:30 p.m. Show starts at 7:30 p.m. The limited
seating dance hall event is open to all ages.
