Monument Snowboards is pleased to announce Mike Casanova as the newest addition to the MNMNT Snowboards Youth Crew.  ’Nova is a super talented rider that will bring some experience to the young and hungry line-up that’s already in place.  Growing up a Midwest ripper who is now holding it down at Breck and Keystone; Mike will be riding the 2010/ 2011 Monument Snowboards BlackBlack deck.

“Mike is an amazing person with more focus than anybody that I know.  He has a heart bigger than an elephant and more talent than most people would know what to do with. I think he is a great fit for Monument snowboards and joins an already stacked team.  Monument can finally give Mike the creative freedom and support that he needs to show the world of snowboarding what he can do.  Oh, and he’s not a bad student driver either.”

-MNMNT Team Manager Connor Stohlgren

Casanova is excited about joining the team and being part of a small rider driven company. He is stoked on the opportunity saying that “..being involved with a tight knit crew where it’s direct friends making it happen. Not feeling like a number, but someone appreciated. Also, the involvement in the creative side of the company, whether that be graphics, softness, etc..” is a big part of why he joined the Youth Crew.

About Monument Snowboards:
Each year we curate an ever-growing pedigree of artists to create site-specific art and deliver the highest quality product on the market. Turning our back to momentary trends, vapid graphic design and company branding, we focus on the visual impact and technical superiority of our boards. Everything we produce is created hand in hand with a roster of established and emerging artists in an attempt to infuse art into the world around us. Our dedication to provide premium products drives us to search for new and unique approaches to enhance riders’ snowboard lifestyles worldwide. Started in 2001, based on a collective of Mid-Atlantic artists, MNMNT was started and driven by art. Providing unique products to riders. Today, that collective is worldwide, with many artists across the globe contributing to our vision. While many companies have changed their direction based on the industry trends, MNMNT has stayed true to its beginnings.
