Global Communication Company Opens Seattle Office

Italy based Piva Group, the parent company of Northwave Snowboard Boots, Drake Snowboard Bindings, and Bakoda Design Logic, has announced the formation of Piva Communications, Inc. The new global communications company will focus on all marketing, branding and promotional aspects of Northwave, Drake, and Bakoda. The announcement was made by Gianni Piva, President of the Piva Group.

"This investment will reinforce my personal belief on marketing activities and on the North American market, which I believe to be the most important market for global direction in trends and branding for action sports" says Gianni. "We welcome Dane Hjort back into the company as Pivacomm's new CEO, and look forward to his positive direction for the continued success of all our brands."

All marketing initiatives will be created and based out of the Pivacom's Seattle offices. Currently, the Piva Group's international marketing activities are housed in Piva's North American division, Northwave North America. The entire marketing staff at NNA will move over to the new Pivacom under the direction of Dane.

"I am excited to be back working with the brands and helping to continue their strength in the industry" says Dane. "I have an incredible group of people working with me and I look forward to pushing the creative limits."
