Mervin Mfg’s Boxes for Days made it’s ceremonial international debut last week at Sanosaka Resort in Hakuba, Japan. Riders from all over came out to try and best the 100’+ box and hang on a sunny day with Think Thank pros Jesse Burtner, Sean Genovese, Austin Hironaka, Ted Borland and Chirs Larson. Bananas we eaten and smashed into the snow…thousands of photos were taken…a snow-biker might have broken some ribs…Coal beanies were given out…records were spun…and three people cleared Level 10 while snow monkeys watched from a distance…it was awesome. The afterparty at UFO Stadium was equally fun as drink tickets magically appeared, Ride TM Matt Sickels put on a small break dance exhibition and one stoked kid walked home with a new Gnu snowboard.
HUGE thanks to Snowboard Connection’s Kenji Kato, Garage 902’s Kenken and Jimmy Concrete for going over and above to make this event happen. Video from Think Thank coming soon!

Krushu was stoked to spend several days digging out boxes all over Hakuba, for the event.

Yusaku was our friendly MC for the contest. I couldn't understand anything he said, but he is pretty all time!

Snow monkeys were seen coming out of the woods for the bananas Krush got.
