Snowboarding lost one of its most genuine souls yesterday with the passing of USASA founder Chuck Allen. For nearly a quarter of a century Chuck selflessly dedicated most of his time and energy to promoting the growth of both amateur snowboarding competitions and the sport as a whole. In terms of people who have directly influenced multiple generations of shreds Chuck is unmatched and will forever be missed.

EXACTLY WHAT BRADSHAW SAID!!! I know there are A LOT of snowboarders who Chuck helped more than he will ever know get to where they are today. He was down for snowboarding/surfing, down for the kids, down for the sport!! You will be missed but never forgotten and your mark on snowboarding will be here for years and years to come!!!
