Great job to who ever put this together. Its really cool to get a sense of the history involved in our sport or lifestyle or what ever you want to call it. Its good to know who was there to support it from the start and hopefully the snowboarders will support those brands, people, and areas. Thanks again.

Just one quick flash of myself in here but there’s Duncan Ellico, John Hellestoe, Kathy Ognibene, and Little Susan Baumgard, who along with Klassen and McCoy were probably the best riders in the World at that time, especially free riding, Hellestoe, Ellico, Ognibene and Bronco Zarkovacki just shredded the back country

I remember when Hellestoe did the first 720 anybody had ever seen off of NATURAL TERRAIN at June, we were just in shock. And then he went and did Rock Chute in the Sherwins, and snowboarding was here to stay…

Cool, takes me back to the beginning, which for me was towing behind snowmobiles with Bronco Zarkovacki and friends on a modified “Sims Stick” in 1983.

    Good memories, Karen
