Lib Tech and Bent Metal Binders welcomed THE RETURN OF KINKO DE MAYO to the sunny slopes of Mt Bachelor for a day of kinks, heavy metal, banana salsa and of course....the Squirt Pit.
Bent Metal heads Ted Borland, Max Warbington and Brandon Hammid mixed in with a huge crew of shreds vying for the last Superpark Superpass for Bridges and Snowboarder Magazine.
When the Squirt Pit dried up it was Kenny "Kornbread" Cummngs who earned his Bent Metal cut and the Superpark Invite along with a tent/sleeping bag combo from Poler, a lib skatedeck and a giant bottle of Tapatio hotsauce....basically all a dude needs for a week of radness in the high desert of Central Oregon.
Jeff DeForge hitchhiked from New England to finish second and grab a Burtner Boxscratcher, Kenny Srofe took third and Zoe dominated for the girls and walked away with a new Gnu B-Street for her efforts.

Have you ever seen a 1 footed double backflip....Well neither had we up until Scott Vine did one on Day 5 of Superpark. The action on the final day at Mt Bachelor was absolutely bonkers and there really is no way to describe than to simply just watch the video.

In the final episode of the 2012/13 "Grilosodes", Marko Grilc ends his season at JP Walker's Handplant Holiday and reflects on the past season. It's been a year filled with travel, good snow, competitions, and a lot of unique endeavors, including slow motion filming with the Phantom camera, coaching young kids at a snowboard camp, projecting images of snowboarding on city buildings, and more. Enjoy.

Wednesday may be Hump Day, but here at Mt. Bachelor, the riders of Superpark 17 presented by Gatorade weren't dragging their heels at all on Day 3. The Woodward rail feature continued to have new lines exposed by snowboarding's most talented jibbers, and the plethora of transition options built by Woodward, Loon Mountain, Seven Springs, and Mt. Bachelor saw plenty of epic action. Superpark 17: The Webcast went down on Seven Springs's massive channel hip. Austen Sweetin, Hans and Nils Mindnich, Dylan Alito, Kim-Rune Hansen, Sam Taxwood, Annie Boulanger, and more were hucking themselves over the gap. Roope Tonteri stomped the double back rodeo right after the webcast ended, but luckily we have the footage in the Day 3 video. Check it out and log onto www.snowboardermag.com at 1:30pm - 4:30pm to watch the last Superpark 17 webcast on the Woodward jib plaza.

Day 2 at Superpark 17 presented by Gatorade was one for the books. For the first time ever, Superpark was broadcast live via Superpark 17: The Webcast, which showcased thirty of the best jumpers in a heavy session on Loon's 70-footer. A barrage of double corks, double lines, and shirtless Lick the Cat guys soared over the jump under Oregon's blue skies. Woodward's jib feature opened on Day 2, also, providing a myriad of jib options for the rail heavies. Check out the video for the action and tune in at 1:30pm - 4:30pm PST for today's webcast, direct from Seven Springs' massive channel hip.

Friday May 11 was arguably one of the craziest days of snowboarding ever. Snowboarder Magazine's Superpark 16 presented by Gatorade saw an insane level of progression go down, from a backside triple cork from Sebastian Toutant as well as a frontside triple cork from Mark Hoyt, to Cody Rosenthal's bs 360 double methods, Josh Dirksen's banked slalom runs, to even certain riders literally trying to burn the park down, day 5 had it all! Check out riding from Seb Toots, Josh Dirksen, Mark Hoyt, Harrison Gordon, Haldor Helgason, Peetu Piironien, and many many more.

In 2012, Seven Springs packed up their rakes and shovels and made the trek to Mt. Bachelor, setting up shop and building a behemoth of a jump for the Superpark riders.
From Seven Springs:
It was an honor and a privilege to be involved with Superpark 16 last year. Our features enabled a ridiculous amount of airtime and Superpark's first ever triple cork. While the crew finishes the build for Superpark 17, lets take a look at the progression that went down last year. Featuring Jaeger Bailey, Johnny Brady, Brandon Davis, Sawyer Deen, Tyler Flanagan, Brendan Gerard, Ian Hart, Ozzy Henning, Mark Hoyt, Tim Humphreys, Sam Hulbert, Hans Mindnich, Nils Mindnich, Blake Paul, Cody Rosenthal, Sam Taxwood, Sebastien Toutant, Durell Williams and more.
