From Ian Ruhter:
In the process of preparing the time machine, I had no idea this would become one of the most extraordinary journeys to date. It would propel me into the future where I meet Chase Jarvis, one of the greatest photographers of all time. It would then send me back in time to meet with my old friend, Peter Line, the best snowboarder of this era.
All of a sudden I found myself in the present, making a picture of Ishmael Butler from the Diggable Planets. I had travelled the way you would in a dream, taking me backward into the future. A future where you paint with silver and light.
Not so long ago, four stars were created, and they each started on their own separate journeys through the universe. Astronomers once thought the chance of stars colliding was roughly once in an eternity. For this to happen in our lifetime, would be a rare and remarkable event. If scientists could predict these collisions in the future, does this mean their paths are pre-determined?
In my journey through life, it was never clear if my path was pre-determined, or if I had the ability to alter my own destiny. I would like to believe that my journey through this universe has already been mapped out. If so, then building this camera, and meeting these incredible people has been no accident, and this explains the theory that everything happens for a reason. Are we all part of a bigger picture?

The radical ladies of P.S. venture to Alaska in episode eight, but it's not the enormous peaks of the Great White North that they're after. Instead, Hana Beaman, Erin Comstock, Leanne Pelosi, Corinne Pasela, and Danyale Patterson hit the streets in search of unique features to get their shred on.

Recently more than 40 professional snowboarders, filmers, team managers, magazine dudes and photographers traveled to the other side of the world for Lib Tech's "Holy Bowly" in search of good times, good bowls, and perfect shred. Words can not express how grateful we all were to how we were embraced by the Japanese snowboard community, proving without a doubt that we truly are one giant tribe of shred. Big thanks to Lib Tech and Monster along with Krush, Goro, the Tenjin Lodge, Jaime Lynn, Wes Makepeace, and everyone that made the journey to Japan with us. Be there next year!

In the beginning of April, the Flow crew headed to the Chugach Mountain Range in the great white north for Flow Tailgate Alaska. As most of North America was shifting focus to spring, Alaska was still in the cold of winter, with plenty of powder to be had. There's not much better than camping out, partaking in Flow Tailgate AK festivities like snow science classes, man games, parties, snowmobiling, and of course, shredding epic lines. The experience of Flow Tailgate AK is exemplified by Tim Humphreys, Iris Lazzareschi, Mike Basich, Jason Gretzinger, and Shin Biyajima, as they take on the ridges of AK in this edit of enormous proportions.

There are two things that are important to take away from this video: first, 100% of Australian astronauts prefer SNOWBOARDER Magazine. Second, Grenade Games 9 is coming to Mammoth April 27-28, 2013. Luckily you don't need to jump out of a space crane to get there, so make sure you get to Mammoth for two days of legendary shredding at one of the best events of the season.

The Northwest's finest gathered at Timberline last weekend for Airblaster's Second Third Annual Board Games. A rhythm-section whoopdie course with staggered whoopdies brought on all sorts of fun boarding, as Airblaster's team riders and locals rode together, spinning, high-fiving, and backflipping.
