The only thing better than listening to Gigi Rüf talk about snowboarding is to actually see him do it. Like a philosopher prince of the piste Gigi's genuine insights into all things shred are something Snowboarder can't get enough of. Here he pulls back the layers on the iconic Beaver Jump for Pirates including footage from Pirate's new flick Unique 8 as well as their classics Over Sea's and Jolly Roger and Burton's It's Always Snowing Somewhere. 2:20 is a shot of Freddie Kalbermatten pulling one of the craziest off-axis bs 720 melon's ever. On a side not anyone who has a chance to see Pirate's new flick Unique 8 should do so immediately. Chris Sorman's part intro alone is worth the price of admission.
