    That’s what’s up!

A couple things: Enough of front flipping on/off rails. I appreciate the difficulty of the maneuver, but it is just not cool now that everybody is doing it. I would rather see smooth, controled style. And I can not stand this up close, wide-angle style of filming. It looks horrible and makes watching this difficult. The filmer should not be moving around more than the rider doing the tricks!

I would like to know how a front flip off the flat of the DFD/kink rail didn’t come off as “smooth, controlled style”. I’m pretty sure if you look, the flip was about as controlled and committed as can be. He bonks the middle of the fuckin tail right on the last few inches of the rail. Not to mention it was as controlled as a front flip off a rail is going to get.
I get that it doesn’t suit your taste, some kids don’t dig flipping, especially front flips. But its a ridiculously high risk/high reward manuever that was stuck as clean as it could have been. And it was recorded over a 3 hour film session early in the season. I don’t see how that clip could have been ommited from this edit, or most resort-recorded edits for that matter. WHAT IT IS KID. Take your criticism elsewhere.

For the record, that front flip is nutty Strother. Big ballin’ s#it. Keep em commin’. And Grogan, you absolutely made a mockery of that downbar. You owned the day. Look forward to shredding with you this winter kid.

The filmer moving back and forth for every shot was pretty annoying. good session though.
