Back in the early 90's when overalls were fashionable Mark Fawcett was in contention for the overall world title. Since then he has competed in two Olympics, become a respected backcountry guide and passed his skills on to the next generation of high speed turners as a coach of the Canadian National Alpine team. Now the rider who spent most of his career relying on traditional sidecut has become an outspoken advocate of reverse sidecut when riding the white wave. Check out this video where Mark explains the virtues of the elliptical edge. Imagine the spray Mark could have sent had be been riding a reverse sidecut board in that classic shot of him roosting a skier in Greenland.
