gross! we don’t need to be pulled because we can go downhill! this made me nauseated to watch.

  • ummm

ya this would only make sense if it was somewhere flat where they couldn’t go downhill, it seems like theyre at a mountain though? what the hell? so wack

  • HateHateHate

That has got to be the worst form of snowboarding I have ever, ever, seen.

  • leland

man takes one 1 forward while snowboarding takes 2 steps back

  • Wow lame

    Wow lame. F* wake anything

  • http://twsnow ouch

i mean the stuff some wakeboarders do at parks now are dope but this is now making snowboarding look bad…

  • blz

i fuckin got so angry watchin these shitbags wakeboard, on a perfectly good park.. in perfect snow .. in april. while i sit here in october and sweat balls

  • dd

this would never make sense…no matter where you are. I don’t like to be a hater, but sometimes you gotta sound off….i will be on my knees tonight, PRAYING, that this trend doesn’t take hold…pleeeeeeaaaasssseeee

  • Rick

Am I the only one who thinks this is going to be awesome for snowboarding? I mean, think of how amped everybody would be watching this at The Dew Tour or Olympics? My son who is 12 years old and showing some major potential for the sport, thinks this is the coolest thing to happen to snowboarding since when Shaun White did the first “double-corked” 1200. Which leads me to my point, the youngsters in snowboarding are excited to see it going this direction and I don’t blame them, shouldn’t we all feed off of eachothers sports in an attempt to make everything as “gnarly” as possible?

  • Ricksatard

This is revolting. wakeboarding is an abomination. The future? A trend? Maybe for wakeboarders.. but this is NOT and will NEVER be snowboarding. The people who did this should be stripped of their snowboard and given a pair of skiis. Most wakeboarders ski anyways. Man, there are just not enough words to describe the atrocity that this video is.

  • Julia

I’ve fantasized about a reverse gravity suit that when you turn it on will let you ride up the mountain, but then I realize that by reversing gravity you would actually just fall straight up into the sky so NEVER MIND. But now after watching this horrible video an idea was born. If we set it up so that the pulling system is at the top of the hill then we could snowboard uphill? So in conclusion, YOUR DOING IT WRONG!

  • garrett

horrible. idea. why? we have mountains . idiots !

  • SourApples?

Well clearly there is no better way to use that thing then for water since wakeboarders would sink without it but that just doest belong on snow unless for tow ins for flat ass places like Wisconsin. but for snowboarders to diss on wakeboarding that’s sad cause you would ride a cable park if you had one near you since you can’t snowboard during the summer.

  • RickMoronIS

Rick doesnt get it. snowboarding doesnt happen on TV, thats just another show of maneuvers like figure skating or ski jumping. a measuring contest for who is more focused on one single aspect of the sport. shaun white cant ride powder or sell his product at stores other than target. wakeboarding cant ass its dependence on boats and pulleys onto snowboarding.what we do in the mountains would exist independent of lifts, or fancy bindings, or 20/20 outerwear. rick and his son can keep snowboarding for sport and making it gnarlier than the gnarliest thing in gnarland, ill keep space godzillaing without a lift ticket at his favorite resort, through his favorite glades, his sons favorite park features laughing at how he still buys into the bullshit and gets mad when i spray him. dang i got a dirty mouth, anybody got some stride gum?

  • gravelman

WTF are you all whinging and whining about??? I wake, I snow, i Ride Downhill – it’s all fun, and that is just what this is FUN! enjoy it and stop with the narrow minded BS. Nothing wrong with crossing over at all.
Typical haters, you dont like, just dont do it.

  • Berne

too bad they didnt use the 2 tower cable thingy to go uphill. raleys (superman shiz for the un-wake enthusiast) have got to be about the worst-looking hard-to-do trick I’ve ever tried… so no need to bring that to snow at all. But – the possibilities of getting speed for a QP in an urban setting with a few rails mixed in are awesome. no need for stupid scaffolding death-drop-ins. speed for days for skate style features. no need to hang on to handles during tricks. too much haterade – creativity and diversity are crucial.

  • banshee bungee

Okay all you guys complaining listen up. The banshee bungee is the same thing! Its wakeboarding into a rail. And rails are for skateboarding. I am so sick of these jibber kids saying they did a 5-0 or a blunt slide. That is only possible on a skateboard. Banshee bungee is the combination of two sports skateboarding and wakeboarding. Go ride mountains and if you don’t have any in your flat state/province then move asap!

  • kyle

wow!!! i bet non of you can snowboard or wakeboard after hearing the comments you have to say. this is going to be sweet for a place like the peg where they got no hills. damb fools!!!!!

  • shay

Don’t like it don’t do, but don’t bitch like a little girl

  • Brian

Ricksatard…… “most wakeboarders ski” man are you ill informed. Crawl out of your icehole in New Hampshire or where ever that BFE town it is you live in and explore a bit. The sport has grown from watersking as Snowboarding evolved from Skiers that were bored with Skiing. Point is. I dont know ONE professional Wakeboarder that Ski’s when they go to the Mtn.

  • terry bailey

that shit would never fly in america as soon as they where setting it up there would be a riot on the mountain and the snowboarders would climb the 2.o tower and ride it to the ground the weay we do field goals to protest football!!! haha this shits gayy

  • wakesnowboarder

I think this would be great for the poor b****rds that live in snowy flat s***holes like Iowa… Then they don’t have to travel and they could ride. And those failed tail/hoochie glides looked like crap. And that’s coming from a primarily wake rider. Holding onto the handle for the rails on flat ground is potentially cool, but they should be letting go for when they are jumping…

They’re just trying something new and different. For every great innovation, there are 10 retarded ones. Hating is pointless in the grand scheme of things. Do what you think is fun and shred hard, whether it’s snow, skate or wake.
