    A good teaser is like going to a strip club, it gets you all excited and hyped to see more but you’ve got to wait (or pay more) to get what you want.

    A good teaser needs to be Gnarly. It needs to have riders pushing the limits of progression. Deep pow shots, and heavy jibbing. A good song, and good editing. It needs to get you stoked and make you want to shred everytime you watch it. And watch it over and over and over.

    a good teaser needs to show what the video is all about. if there just messing around or if ther looking to be the next thats it thats all. it should have some banger shots but it shouldnt put all the best ones in the teaser, because it creates a false sense of high quality that the video doesent deserve. after its over it should leave you with a huge urge to shred and a dire need to find the song. ch yee ch!

    a good trailer should do the same thing as a video part. it should get you hyped to ride and it should have a lot of full clips. you guys nailed it

    all a good teaser has to do is give a quick fix of what your season and the adventures you had filming, along with what to expect with the finished product. Now what makes a good movie is a whole different story

    A good teaser isn’t packed full of filler like drinking, color flashes, old and retro movie scratches, smoking it up with the homos, oops I mean homies, picking fights with bums on the street, with the occasional titty flash as one of the few exceptions. A good teaser doesn’t rely on the well known cred of a company but can back it up with raw and natural talent showing off the progression of riding. A good teaser gets a viewer stoked just go out and ride and have a good. time. A good teaser is hard to come across today because of all of the gang mobbing kids and all of the strung out wack jobs over editing every clip in the video. One thing is for sure though; when you find that teaser that you’ve been waiting so long for, your piggy bank will be smashed and you’ll be half way to your local shred shop before you’ve even finished breakfast.

    I would consider a good teaser to have good flow between the riding, song, editing, styles….. Some good teasers are: FODT: The Arena, People Crew: Cheers, VideoGrass: Bon Voyage, or just any of the Gremlinz teasers….. Also thats a sick shirt!

    A good teaser should give you the impression where the movie is all about. It should show some bangers, some epic shots, some shots of beatifull nature they’ve seen while filming and tricks you see in almost every movie. The music should give you the impression what the brand, or moviemaking group wants to be seen like. To they want to be seen as feelgood or as gangsters you don’t gotta mess with. In total the teaser should be like the movie is on average, it wouldn’t be ok if a movie has a feelgood teaser with hippie music is a promotion for a movie in wich they only play gansgter music and riders acting like gang- members. A good teaser shows you in 5 minutes what you can expect of the movie in its full glory.

    umm.. i guess it should have some fucking weird shit for fun, some serious flying, spinning, flipping and grabbing, some rails & taps.. but most of all it should just show that the people had a shitload of fun filming.. oh, and a nice song to get you stoked and make it sexy

    The riders need to show that they’ve been THINKING about their snowboarding. Trick choice based on the spot and it’s surroundings. creativity! trick choice!

    I will tell you what DOESN’T make a good teaser, or a good movie-the over use of tilt shift. My god. Great riding but brutal over use of Forest Bailey’s Gumbi style and insane over use of tilt shift. Maybe we can move on from sky timelapses as well?

    Givin presents ‘One’, the epitome of what any snowboarder would want in a gnarly snowboard edit. Grinding cement, rail thrashing, clouds of bursting powder, endless pillow lines and most off all those mind blowing pow shots. After banger after banger after banger along to a mellow track I realized we are watching everything necessary to make a damned good teaser.

    Too be honest, I had been getting a little tired of snowboarding. But this teaser reminded me of the ONE reason I’ve been driving to NC just to snowboard over the past years. Snowboarding is freakin insane!!
