Oakley & Shaun White Air + Style Beijing is dropping into the heart of the Far East for its second year – spearheading the snowboarding industry’s push into the potential-rich nation with the immense buzz, pageantry, music/entertainment spectacle and truly world class riding expected of an international Oakley sports event.

The 6-Star TTR contest, to be held in the country’s ultra-magnificent Olympic “Bird’s Nest” (Beijing National Stadium), is poised to push the level of Freestyle Snowboarding outside of the half pipe to all-time insane levels, while continuing to introduce the culture of action sports to Chinese society.

All the Shuan White bashing is a joke, dude has paid his dues!, his status "made from the media" is larger than life, this is what he gets paid for now, and last time I checked, when dude enters a pipe contest he usually comes out on top. This looks like a sick event!

@mylissa youre a dumb flatlander... people from new york arent allowed a credible opinion about snowboarding, as if theyre better just because theyre norwegian... halldor and mcmorris are just as good if not better than the podium, neither of them are norwegian... and my family are scandinavian immigrants... who cares? also fuck shaun white...

Looks good, I really was hoping it was on an actual hill though. Still pretty neat though.
