VBS is back with another installment of their oral history of snowboarding, Powder & Rails. These episodes are dedicated to Tom Sims who is widely acknowledged as the Johnny Appleshred of West Coast riding. Here Tom along with Mike Chantry, Terry Kidwell, Mike Ranquet and others recount the roots of Sims Snowboards and the long standing skate/surf legacy it had on the alpine. Unfortunately there is no mention of the use of tie-dye in Sims Pure Juice clothing which was easily two decades ahead of the curve or of Jose Fernandez who was the first pro snowboarder to drive an Audi!
