It’s old news that Seth Wescott won the 2nd Olympic boardercross this year in Vancouver. What most people don’t know is that Wescott basically gets no support from the snowboard industry, but he does have a pretty awesome gig. First he does boardercrosses, whoops I mean snowboard crosses, around the world throughout the winter, wins some loot, then heads to Alaska for a month every April where he gets endless untracked lines. After Alaska, he heads down to Costa Rica to surf for a month, and eventually heads back home to chill for awhile until the snow starts to fly. Not a bad gig. Here’s to you Seth, keep living the dream, and hopefully we see you win again in 2014 at the Russian Olympic games.
